Pregnant and getting married! HELP!

Hi all, so after a BFP a couple of weeks ago, then thinking we'd had a chemical, then finding out little bean was actually ok, we've decided to move our wedding forward from October to July, that's 12 weeks away! By this point I'll be around 19 weeks pregnant, so I need a new wedding dress, does anyone have any suggestions where to get one from?
Also has anyone got married whilst pregnant? What was it like? How did you feel? I'm looking for any advice Mumsnetters can give me! TIA. ThanksThanksThanks

I got married about 5 1/2 months pregnant, where planning on getting married the following year but because I was pregnant brought it forward a year. Both sets of parents helped out a lot and organisation was started beginning of August and we got married beginning of October.

It was fine as long as I could sit down as much as I wanted and have lots of waterSmile

Ooh thanks, so you didn't feel too tired or achy? I'm so worried about not being able
to enjoy our day! I've bought some flat shoes as well as my heels for dancing in! X

I wore heels for the ceremony then flats for the rest of itSmileumm I did need the toilet a lot, but I was pregnant with twins so don't know if that makes a difference. The only uncomfortable part was when the car taking me and my dad to the ceremony about 2 miles from my parents house broke down midwaySad

I got married at 19weeks wore my original dress. Was corset back so was a bit lose at the back. Wore smaller heels. Did well until the evening where I mainly sat down. Kept a bottle of wine and opened it on DD 1st birthday. Good luck.

What is your original dress like? My friend got married at 20 weeks and just had hers let out a bit. A lot of wedding dresses tend to have a generous allowance in the seams to allow for weight gain, etc, so it might be do-able. Depends on how comfortable you would feel in it though!

I was 11 weeks at my wedding and only dh knew so I couldn't even talk to anyone about dresses or alterations. I pretended to my mum that I'd just fattened up a tad and was concerned no diet would shift the lbs in time. In the end I basically forced my aunt to shoe horn me into my dress.

I didn't have too much of a bump, but there was baby bloat and I'm very short so it showed. Plus my ribcage had already started to widen.

I'd go for an empire line, which will flow over any bump or look fine if there isn't one. A friend of mine is rather tall and 20 weeks and basically only looks like she's had a takeaway hahah!

Oh and luckily I was OK all day - had heels of about 1 1/2 inches and luckily morning sickness stayed away.

Congratulations on your pregnancy and impending marriage!

I'm not sure re: where as I was just 12 weeks so just didn't need dress taken in by much but I did get married whilst pregnant.

It was absolutely fine! I was tired a lot quicker and by 12, I literally nearly fell asleep standing. I felt a bit queasy but nothing too bad. Was only showing if you looked for it so it wasn't a big problem - we had an amazing day and I am sure you will too!

I was gloriously and hugely 7 months gone when I got married. For dresses, I recommend Ghost. Some of their dresses are in a boiled polyester, which sounds horrid, but is incredibly stretchy and bounces back after washing so you can still wear them after you give birth.

pale grey
Satin but wearable
Very bridal
Dye to order

I was 5 months ( bought the dress before I found out!h mine was a skirt and bodice with lacing up the back, the seamstress put an extra panel in behind the lacing. I was quite obviously pregnant in the photos!

I would have like someone else has suggested an empire line if I was in the situation again ( not likely Grin)

Got married at 23 weeks in Rhodes. Bought a lovely maternity wedding dress that made my bump barely obvious. Had a great day, heat and heels didn't cause me an issue. You'll be fine :)

I've been very naughty and stolen all these dress ideas :) They are brilliant :)

Ladies thank you so much for all your advise, I love the empire line dress! I'm going to have a look for something like that but I'm going to see how much I'm showing. Do you grow much week to week? If I ordered a dress at 14 weeks and then the wedding was at 18 weeks, is it still likely to fit? So many questions! Xxx
