Hello, I found out about 3 weeks ago I was pregnant, I took nine tests and a clear blue one which said I was 2-3! Grin
I'm waiting on my booking appointment but can't get the anxiety feeling out of my head about if the baby is developing okay!
I don't want to over panic! Any one got advice on how to calm myself down !
Thank you!!!

Congratulations. I remember that feeling with my first, it was awful .Unfortunately there is nothing you can do until your first scan at around 12 weeks. Just try and remain calm, deep breathing, plenty of water and eat healthily. The 12 weeks will be here before you know it.

Hello lovely!

I've only just gone 13 weeks an I really do empathise because I was exactly like you!

Unfortunately there really is nothing you can do. You'll hear people say all the time that "it wasn't real until the scan" because it really isn't! You know it's there but you don't know what's going on!

All I can say is you will naturally relax as time goes on and you get more settled into being pregnant. Also, when my sickness started I was sort of glad of having it because it was my way of knowing baby was okay but you may be lucky enough not to get sickness (fingers crossed for you!).

What put my mind at rest too was buying a feral Doppler at around 9 weeks (I thought I was 11 haha). It just meant we could listen to baby's heartbeat and so if I ever got nervous anything was wrong I could have a listen and out my mind at ease!

Congratulations and I wish you an amazing smooth pregnancy! x
