I had a headache since January on and off. This last week has been awful. It's in my forehead, goes down both sides of my faces and is making my jaw and ears hurt and even my teeth are sensitive. I can barely function and I feel so so sick.
I feel like I have a tonne of bricks attaches to my forehead it feel so heavy.
I'm currently signed off for 2 weeks with sinusitis and low BP.
I'm just so fed up of feeling crappy.
I've never felt anything like it. And I've had migraines before.
Paracetamol is just useless
Oh and when I blow my nose it's all bloody Confused
currently 26+1 weeks.
Not sure what I want to get out of this post but I just needed to get it down somewhere :(

I had horrendous sinusitis with headache and facial pain plus frequent nose bleeds. It started around the time I got pregnant and by the time I got to 13 weeks it was almost unbearable.

My GP prescribed me some co-codamol for the pain and a steroid nasal spray (beclometasone) which really helped and I also used a saline spray (Sterimar).

I'm 21 weeks now and still have some congestion but it's nowhere near as painful as it was.

I hope you manage to get some relief soon

I can't take co codamol. I have the spray but it's not helping.

I keep seeing stars now too :(

I would get checked out if I were you. I had migraines during pregnancy and didn't get stars, was told to treat visual problems very seriously.

They are very happy to check blood pressure at any time to rule anything sinister out, and you might be able to access better treatment if it turns out to be sinusitis or migraine or something else.

Do you have a maternity triage number you can call? Or the MW team?

I'm going to ring the day assessment unit in the morning. Been trying to sleep since 8pm. I'm so tired but it just hurts too much :(

You are getting checked out which is good but do you grind your teeth at night? I do in times of extreme stress and I have TMJ dysfunction which can make your entire head/face hurt like utter hell to the point of vomiting with pain.

No I don't. My other half does and it's bloody annoying.
I have HMS which affects my jaw but this is something else.
My ear is killing me. Trying to sleep but the pain is awful :(
14 weeks seems so far away :(

Got a couple hours. Thanks for asking
Rank triage this morning cos I couldn't get hold of my mw. They sent out a community mw. BP is fine and she's put it down to the sinusitis which I should be on antibiotics for so called the doc and I'm not on Simes strong antibiotics. So hopefully should feel better in a few days! Fingers crossed!
Got to hear baby's heartbeat though! Xx
