Hi,
I have recently begun experiencing signs which make me believe I may be pregnant.
My period is 2 weeks late, sensitive breasts, weight gain, feeling nauseous, cannot go near certain foods without beginning to feeling horrific, sometimes it feels as if there is something within my stomach moving, my moods are everywhere at the moment and needing to go to the bathroom every 10 minutes and I am tired all the time!
I am also currently on the implant, however I have heard that there have been quite a few people, (on here and on other walls I have looked at) who have mentioned becoming pregnant whilst on the implant, I have also had regular and consistent periods for the past year whilst on the implant, this is the first time I have missed a period.
I have taken 1 home pregnancy test and also been to my local sexual health clinic to see if I am pregnant and both tests came back negative.
I know this probably sounds crazy but I just have this nagging feeling in my head that I can't seem to get rid of... I feel as though I know I am pregnant!
feel as if I'm going crazy, anyone had or are in a similar situation, I would really appreciate your advice.

I think all you can do is wait a couple more days and try again. Do you want to get pregnant?

You're on the implant and it often mimics pregnancy. You're not likely to get pregnant while on it and the only reason people do is because it's not in correctly.

Why are you on the implant if you want to get pregnant?

When did you get it put in? based on friends experiences it can cause significant changes in menstrual cycles, weight and hormones.

My friend is currently 15 weeks pregnant & she has the implant in. She was on steroids in december though which her doctor thinks effected the implant. X

ive had the implant for two years now, when i first began experiencing signs of a possible pregnancy i wasnt planning on becoming pregnant as i am currently in my last year of university.

however i am very happy with the idea (no matter how small) that i might be pregnant.

If tests are negative then it's unlikely. Are you trying to get pregnant?
