does anyone have any experience or knowledge about cysts on the umbilical cord?

I am almost 21 weeks and my anomoly scan showed a very healthy baby but also showed a cyst on the umbilical cord (not on the baby) and i have a consultant appt in a few weeks. Dr Google doesn't seem to know much about this and it seems as long as it is monitored regularly and there are no other obvious anomolies on the baby (which there aren't ) then there will be a happy ending. But I am interested if anyone else has any experience of placental or cord cysts not on the baby on 2nd and 3rd trimesters.

Sorry can't help from a personal point of view but it sounds like it is a fairly benign situation to me.

Pregnancy is seems to full of stuff you have never heard of or could even imagine! Wishing you all the best for the rest of your pregnancy.
