Pregnancy

Struggling to conceal at 9 weeks!

Am I the only one that is really struggling to conceal their pregnancy? At work I'm either in the loo puking or stuffing my face with dry crackers and barley sugar...not to mention the sudden change from lovey fitted work dress and pencil skirts to loose smock type things!! No 12 week scan date as yet but did have a private scan at the weekend...I would be gutted if everyone guessed/assumed before I could share my news!

Buy a few non-maternity items in a larger size - which'll tide you over until you share the news. Remember that people observe far less about other people than you think. If they notice the barley sugar, it'll be 'oh, that looks nice, can I have a piece'. Bit of a tummy, they'll just assume you've been eating a few too many easter eggs.

That said - someone always puts two and two together. I looked a bit green at work when I was only 7 weeks gone, and a woman in her 40s looked at me, and asked if I was pregnant. I barely knew her, as I was temping and so had only been working for that firm for a couple of weeks.

YES!! I am 11 weeks tomorrow and have to constantly eat to not feel sick AND all my nice work clothes are too tight/restrictive so I am either super casual or in tents - don't feel me at all right now!

Going to pop to mothercare for some maternity trousers this weekend I think :(

Yes! I'm 11 weeks but can't stop telling people ive quit smoking, wouldn't be so bad but I've always said I will never stop also put on a stone+ already but that's just down to replacing fags with food although I do think I have a small bump, I know it's just fat but it looks like a bump Smile
