just as I was beginning to come to terms with how spectacularly unattractive I look...

...a man passing me in the street has referred to me as a 'killer whale'

I'm 44, 32 weeks pregnant and dressed in black in the only clothes which fucking fit now and congratulating myself for having walked into town and back without needing to sleep----

Anyway, the correct term is orca, not killer whale Hmm

Grin I shouldn't laugh but what a spectacular example of a total wanker he is!! Fwiw I resemble an orca - I'm sure you look like a perfectly lovely 32 week pregnant woman.

What a twat Angry. If it's any consolation I feel like I ate a spacehopper!

I will be charitable and say it appeared he was displaying disinhibited behaviour to all and sundry as I could hear him shouting to someone else as I was approaching. Then I braced myself and avoided eye contact as I passed and out he came with the whale comment!

But it would have been nice if he could have shouted out 'goddess' or something similar.

Anyway, I got home without eating my weight in cakes or weeing myself, so that's a bonus!

As far as whale type insults go, Killer Whale is a pretty good one! Mighty and majestic, pretty beautiful too. I'd have been half chuffed if he didn't seem like such an arsehole. I'm 37+5 today and managed to walk around town too (also wearing black and white!), high five to all us land dwelling whales!

I'd have eaten the cakes. And cried. But it doesn't take much at the minute! Love the space hopper analogy space!

My own children called me a weeble when I was pregnant with their little brother. Shock

My revenge has been subtle over the last 9 years Wink

What an horrid man Angry

You are pregnant growing a baby what do people like him find so difficult to understand about that.

It's not nice when nothing fits any more on my last pregnancy we were invited to a formal work do at my husband work place, I remember sitting on the bed for half hour in tears that afternoon but my lovely husband to the rescue brought me a wonderful maternity dress to wear and it was lush.

I got told my bump made me look like Mr Greedy. Ironically I'd had hyperemesis for the entire pregnancy.

When I was in late pregnancy with DC1 DH used to follow me around making tuba noises, like . He even did it when we went into hospital when I was in labour. The midwife's face, until I started laughing, was a picture! Grin
