21 week scan tomorrow... nerves really kicking in

I have my 21 week scan tomorrow. I promised I wouldn't let myself get like this again as I was a total wreck before my 12 week scan and all was perfect! I have just convinced myself again that something will be wrong tomorrow and I have no resonance to think this. I have such bad anxiety over things like this and just really hope that all is ok tomorrow!
Not alot anyone can say I just needed to write how I'm feeling DH, family and friends are tired of me fretting I think (and rightly so bless them!) blushconfused

aaww you sound exactly like me. (21 weeks now, had our scan last week and was a wreck, all was ok, baby had a podgy tummy but nothing to worry about) sending you hugs, im sure all will be fine. good luck and enjoy. x

I was very nervous about mine, couldn't sleep and threw up that morning despite the fact that morning sickness had gone. All was fine and I'm sure yours will be too, much more likely than there being a problem :-) try to relax, do something to distract yourself and look forward to seeing your baby again. Good luck!

I remember you worrying for you 12 weeks scan bippity. Try and stay calm-flowers

I was the same before mine. Hang in there! The NHS page covering the things they check for and how rare they are helped me get things in perspective. In a nutshell, the odds are pretty good!

I think a lot of people get nervous before a scan. They are telling you the potential health of your baby.
I think my pregnancy worries got worse the further in I got.

Good luck with your scan OP flowers

Bippity - you will love your 20 weeks scan more than your 12 week scan. It's so much clearer. Do you think you will be finding out babies sex?

I'm doing ok. Found a semi comfortable spot sat upright with my legs off the side of the bed with my head resting it's not actually comfortable at all and have managed 20ish minutes of sleep

Hello ladies just to let you know the scan was lovely we are so happy and the lady has written what we're having so we can find out on mothers day!
I really shouldn't worry like I do but I know I will be exactly the same for any future scans!
People say the worry is here for life now and I'm thinking that's right! confused
All worth it I am sure
sepa hope you're doing ok!

Congratulations bibity. Great news about the scan. You will need to let us know when you find out if your having a boy or girl!

We welcomed our baby girl into the world on 4th. I can honestly say she is worth every little stress during pregnancy flowers

Congrats that it went well! I was the same before 12 week scan - was full of worry and anxiety for weeks beforehand. Couldn't bear the thought of being the same for 8 wks before 20 week scan. I'm 18 1/2 weeks at no and big scan isn't until 23 March. I've been OK so far but nerves & worry are starting to kick in now
