37+3. Suffering with OC so very itchy. Arthritis is still playing up (although not as much as pre pregnancy)
Bring on labour!

Anyone else due 11 March?

I'm due on Tuesday.. Every little twing I'm like.. Yes this is it.. It's not. I am fed up. If one more person texts me to ask if there's any news I will scream!

I hear you! Due 8th March. I don't even have OC but my feet are so itchy I got two hours' sleep on Friday night :( measuring about 2-3 weeks small though so at least I don't have a HUGE bump getting in the way!

Dino When did your messages start? I have had them from 35 weeks! Hopefully you will go into labour soon!

beautiful is that on the growth chart in your notes? I had a growth scan on Friday and they estimate 7lbs already. This baby will be a monster if I get to 40 weeks

I've had regular growth scans throughout the pregnancy which show baby is on quite a low percentile... and fundal height is measuring behind. But then I am only 5ft! Grrr why do people ask at 35 weeks?! Happened to me too. "No unfortunately I haven't had a premature baby," Confused

BeautifulLiar · 21/02/2016 20:32

They don't estimate the weight at my scans though x

sepa · 21/02/2016 20:36

I know. It's really weird at 35 weeks. I nearly put today in a reply that yes I have had the baby but I completely forgot about it, left it at hospital and wondered why my tummy was flatter!

I wonder why they checked the estimated weight at my growth scan and not yours. It's funny how different hospitals are!

Ha! Definitely use that next time Grin

They've never done it at any scan, for any of my babies Confused it must be different for different trusts? We're in Lincolnshire. I'm predicting the baby will be 6lb 5oz really don't want anything over 7lb

Also I'm 37+5, but due 3 days before you, so how does that work if you're 37+3?! Don't tell me my dates are wrong...

Report
sepa · 21/02/2016 21:03

Ha. That's. Can't say I'm looking forward to pushing the beast out!

I'm in East Sussex. I'm sure they even estimated weight at the 12 & 20 week scan.

I'm not sure how they work it out. From my due date I have me at 37+3. My usual midwife (using the wheel) has me at 37+4 and the hospital (using the wheel also) has me at 37+5 which I assume will be the dates they go by for my OC If they have to induce....

Haha. Actually, I'm thinking Its Monday Grin. Take a day away from each of those. Either way, no one agrees where I am in pregnancy! Hehe

That's crazy they can do that! You're spoilt Wink actually I don't think pushing is too bad, nervous about the contractions though.

How do you feel about the induction? I've got to be induced due to some problems back at 28 weeks including the placenta looking gritty (on scans) and I'm dreading it. I'd planned a home birth...!

SaltySeaBird · 21/02/2016 21:07

I'm East Sussex too and they estimate the weight. I think I'm 36+3 now, just counting down the days!

Nooo still Sunday Grin

Oh the wheels are out this year as it is a leap year apparently- always confusion over that as they are meant to roll back a day but often forget!

Report
BeautifulLiar · 21/02/2016 21:10

Salty I do that too. 16 to go!

I also count back 16 (or whatever) days on the calendar to see what I was doing and prove to myself how quickly time flies Blush

BeautifulLiar · 21/02/2016 21:11

Ooh yes the leap year! I'd love baby to be born on the 29th :)

Report
sepa · 21/02/2016 21:13

Salty - what hospital are you at?

It's the other way round for me. I'm dreading the pushing but not the contractions! I just don't see how the baby is going to fit! Hehe.
I'm not worried about being induced but I have seen there is more risk of infections and possible c-sec but if it's safest for the baby then that's a good enough reason for me

When would you celebrate the birthday though? I have visions that this one will be 29th for pure akwardness especially if he/she takes after me

Do you know what sex your having?

The sex thing to each of you. We didn't find out and I'm Very impatient now

I think girl! I'd celebrate the birthday on February 28th because I'm funny about months so it'd have to be the same one. My others were pushed out in 2 minutes so I'm definitely less scared about that! Plus it's such a relief to be at that stage.

I think you're having..... a boy?

sepa · 22/02/2016 07:06

I think boy but closer to birth I'm getting less sure of my guess!

Im getting on and off cramps for the last few days and i keep wishing it would turn into something. Im 38+2 today, only in the last week i've gotten really uncomfortable and just cant wait for things to kick off now. Im even considering sex to try start things even though i've never felt so unsexy!

My due date is 5th March but also been told they wont have taken into account the leap year so really it's 4th March which i can finally say is NEXT WEEK!!!!

Hope you ladies aren't too uncomfortable Brew
