Will this morning sickness ever end???? Feeling low

I am just coming up to being 9 months pregnant and have been vomiting of a daily basis since week 4. My doc has now put me on anti sickness pills (though they completely knock me out, sleeping is better than being sick). I have burst blood vessels under my eyes from all the vomiting I have done. I was expecting to feel really happy to be pregnant but just feel really low (I feel bad for that because As everyone seems to be telling me it's for a great reason). I am praying this will end after 12-14 weeks. I have been signed off work for 3 weeks and just been signed off for another 2 so feeling guilty about that too. I just wondered if anyone else is going through this????😔😏

Hey, I'm at week 16 and still vomiting pretty much daily but it is so much better than it was so hoping I'm turning a corner. It's miserable though but hang in there, it'll be worth it in the end!

Thanks ladies, makes me feel better that I am not alone...today is a good day I've even stepped out into the garden! Am usually quite a positive person so not like me to feel down in the dumps. Am reassured to know there's and end in sight!

I'm 25 +6 and still vomiting. Had another bad day and I empathise with the feeling that it will never end. But it will. It's completely understandable to feel down about it and I know how grumpy I am when I should be happy with the pregnancy. Hang in there, the end is near and the meds should make a difference.

Do you mean 9 months or 9 weeks?

I'm 12 weeks now. Had bad nausea at first but it's eased loads now. I was prescribed promethazine and it's amazing.

Take your meds and do what you need to get you through. It won't last forever but it's fucking grim and you have my sympathies Flowers

I had horrific vomiting from week 7-18 and then it went away but has returned now at week 27 but much milder than before.

I took promethazine which helped a lot!

Ah sorry I meant 9weeks! Oh humtiddlytum I am sorry to hear that! I think only those who are, or have gone through it can really understand how miserable it can be. Thank god for the pills. Tried a day without them a few days ago and it was the worst day of vomiting. Will try another pill free day in a few weeks.

I'm 6 weeks and have only had this for a couple of weeks, but it is absolutely grim. I had it in both of my previous pregnancies and it really gets you down. My midwife was completely unsympathetic and basically said I had to just put up with it.
The medication people have mentioned, would they only prescribe that in extreme cases?

Ms I hadn't (and still havent, touchwood) actually vomited at all. But the constant nausea was awful, plus I have a phobia of being sick.
The GP was really nice and he prescribed it no trouble. Promethazine is mild and has been used for years, it's really really helped me although I haven't had to take it much recently.

Thanks, I will definitely speak to my GP about it. I'm hardly eating and I can't see me being able to cope at work next week if I still feel like this.

I totally sympathise it gets draining especially when working.

I've had it since week 7 with a 10day break in now 18 weeks and sick most mornings with no real appetite for food. It's much more controllable thN it was before 14 weeks but I'm drained by it.

Even now I'm lying in bed, and can't decide if I need to be sick or eat.

Mine is definitely linked to hunger and motion

I was lucky not vomiting but boy did i feel sick. In fact think it would have been better if i had been. Had my 12 week scan and next day that nasty sickness feeling went as if someone had turned a switch off. 17 weeks now and only feel very slightly sick if i dont eat regularly. It will hopefully go op xx

I think it was about weeks 16/17 when I fancied like eating and the 24/7 sickness had gone. Was nauseous about 4 hrs a day...used to eat in between these time. Took until about week 20 before I coudl clean my teeth with wretching and being sick after cleabibg teeth. I was a hero and used to keep the sick down Blush. I hope it inproves for you, its awful. YOu can laugh me out of town but jaffa cakes helped. All best OP and congrats if I can say on the bubs Flowers.
