Just that! I am really conscious this time to be careful about my weight. I am already overweight. I am being so good about my food, eating super healthy, loads of fruit and veg etc. Here is an example of what i eat in a day...
Rolled oats with seeds and raisins in almond milk
A mango
Salad, couscous, red pepper hummus for lunch
Apple, almond butter
Roast potatoes, cauliflower, veggie quarterpounder and gravy
A multipack size wispa

Drinking loads of water, 3 cups of tea with soy milk. Don't do fizzy drinks or juice.

If anything, I really want to lose some weight or stay the same as I'm honestly worried about being massive by the end, but for some reason, even though I'm eating healthier than ever my stomach has just popped out already...from the top so it looks like a rounded pregnant belly! My jeans are tight already... I look at least 6 months pregnant. I know you show earlier if you've had children already, and this is my 5th pregnancy..but seriously, this feels ridiculous...I feel ridiculous....baby is the size of a pip, its not baby, why am I gaining so much!

Ha! I'm feeling exactly the same way! I'm 6+5 by my dates with dc3 and I'm already in maternity bras because my usual bras are much too tight. My tummy definitely looks podgy; not quite pregnant-looking yet, more like I've been eating all the pies Grin

With dd, I didn't really get a bump until I was 6m. With dd2, you could tell I was pg by 13/14w. I definitely didn't have this kind of boob growth this early, and I have nausea this time, which I didn't have with dds. I'm fascinated as to when I'll start to actually look pregnant.

By the way, you are eating way more healthily than me!

I feel your pain. It's hormones and everyone carries differently. I can't offer any solutions at all but can only say that as someone who also carries huge in pregnancy ('sure it's just the one in there?' Etc, etc), I can sympathise. I know people who carry very small can also feel judged as some people think they are prioritising vanity over baby's health etc. If at all possible, keep doing what you're doing and try to enjoy the fact your body is doing what it is supposed to. Congratulations Thanks

Try 40 weeks. Then you'll feel huge

Oh Ive been there NotSpeaking... I've been 40 weeks plus 18 days....feeling huge then is totally justified as you have a giant BABY inside you.

I was booked in to get checked the day after, so baby then hurried up and came very quickly in the night. Also worth bearing in mind that it is always your choice how long you can go, most times women are advised 12 days over but if you want to wait it out you can. I really hope that doesn't happen to you, or happen to me again though as it was AWFUL!

I was huge too (normally size 8); I was convinced it was twins, or that I was going to end up massive. I'm just over 13 weeks now and it's safe to say my previous ''bump'' was literally all farts. Grin

I'm overweight and recently lost 4 stone but still have more to lose. I've been feeling so good about losing weight and wanted to do this to have a baby. I got pregnant earlier than expected. I'm over the moon and 9+3 but now sat feeling shamed because of my weight and already feel around my stomach more weight but probably more bloated to be honest.

I struggle to eat the things I've had while losing weight yoghurt, fruit etc as I'm so sickly during the days so having dry toast, crackers etc with lots of water but then a balanced healthy tea at night. Constipated (sorry tmi) so drinking orange juice which is not usually 'allowed much' on my slimming world diet so I'm worried about how I'm going. I suppose I just wanted to say I feel the same! Hopefully when I get through this sickness I can get back on track. Sick of feeling fat and guilty when these are the happiest days of my life being pregnant.

I think its mostly bloat and fluid retention...it must be! Its horrible comparing myself to friends having babies or had babies that have just got a neat baby bump at 7 months pregnant and didn't even start showing until 20 weeks pregnant. A sniff of pregnancy hormones and my body explodes all over the place. I just feel awkward, I don't know what to wear.

I know the mhmshsghhghhh of being over weight and pregnant! I'm 5 weeks too and on Monday/Tuesday I WAS SO BLOATED I was like a Balloon! Fortunately, Today it seems to have faded and my belly is small again. I was going about very confused as it's my first.

I know it's tempting to want to lose some weight (for the first time in my life I'm finding healthy eating easy!) but you'll be fine! Don't pressure yourself too much!!

Personally, I'm quite looking forward to someone making a fat comment to me and getting to go "NO! You Judgemental fool! Pregnant!"

Though thinking about it I have eaten quite a bit of protein these last few days. Can't spot any on you meal plan. Are you veggie? Could you perhaps try an omlette or some other eggy thing?

If not veggie you can totally justify a big steak... omnomnom

I'm 10wks and have just had to buy some new maternity jeans as I can't fit into my normal ones Blush this is second baby and I know you show quicker with subsequent pregnancies but wasn't expecting to have to wear them this soon. I know I'm not exactly thin but hey oh well
