Hi ladies
This is my first pregnancy and I feel so strange about it all, of course I am excited like any other new mum should be, but I just don't "feel" pregnant.
I found out I was pregnant when I was about 4/5 weeks, and really the only symptom I had was a missed period. I did also have sore boobs. But absolutely no morning sickness whatsoever!
Haven't really gone off anything - apart from coleslaw which I LOVED before I got pregnant.
Also did feel tired in the first few weeks, but I am now 12 weeks and my boobs hurt on and off - mainly when I wake up in the morning they're most sore.
Also have noticed the tips of my nipples are yellow sometimes, and then sometimes not, not sure what this could be?
I am dreading my first scan on Monday, just because I don't really feel pregnant and I so worried that they will say something is wrong, just cannot stop thinking about it .
When I went to see my MW on my first appointment when I was about 9 weeks, she told me that the reason my boobs hurt only sometimes, is to do with surges of hormones in your body.
I do also have PCOS, so don't know if that has anything to do with not really feeling pregnant ?
So, apart from the boobs occasionally hurting and my nipples changing to yellow sometimes that's pretty much it, although I have also noticed that my appetite has increased, woke up at 3am this morning absolutely starving!
I guess I'm just looking for some words of support or something because I just feel so strange knowing that my friends who have been pregnant have had terrible morning sickness and could hardly stay awake.
Hoping that my scan all goes OK on Monday!
