Hi, I am really worried, has anyone used this product ( the 10 min treatment) during pregnancy? The pharmacist said it was fine to treat the kids but I have googled it and its apparently not!! Does anyone know? Hedrin is OK but the ingredients are different - I am panicking a bit now.

I would trust the pharmacist rather than Google. It's their job to know what medicines should be used by who. The info I can see says there's no information about using it during pregnancy and to consult a medical professional - which you did, and they said it was fine. I would relax about it, of you can.

Iirc, full marks (and Hedrin) are both the silicon's which smother the lice.
Silicon's are found in all sorts of every day shampoos and cosmetics. I wouldn't be worried, unless your planning on eating the stuff!

Unless you drank it, I really wouldn't worry too much! Especially as the pharmacist said it was fine.

Do you mean safe to use at arms length on kids head. Or do you mean used on your own hair?

Thanks so much for the replies. I used it on the kids but was not wearing gloves I have a big cut on my finger. Definitely didn't drink it ;) I have been wet combing my own hair - no plans to use it on myself. So in reality I guess my exposure to it is minimal. I did see that the ingredients are present in all sorts of products so have calmed down now. There is nothing I can do. My first has undiagnosed learning difficulties and I am only 9 weeks today so I have been trying to be so careful this time... Definitely calmed down. Thanks again
