I am currently 7 + 5. Have had so many symptoms, cramping, morning sickness, painful boobs, putting on weight tiredness and 6 positive tests!!!!! However due to having a missed misscariadge 4 months ago at 5 weeks I am paranoid and worried now my symptoms have disappeared!!!! I took a test this morning and two lines but one was very very faint!! I've drank two litres of water today... Is this normal or am I losing another baby SadSad

I would not usually say this but please stop doing pregnancy tests. You must be making yourself really anxious and that is definitely not good. If you are still concerned in a week go to epu at hospital. Lastly, I think you would benefit from talking about your miscarriage to someone. A good friend or counsellor - whatever suits you more.

Try not to panic. I had a mmc 2 years ago so understand completely how you feel. My symptoms this time disappeared around 8 weeks, and would come and go, i would be worried sick with awful anxiety. I now have a very healthy 4 month old in his cot next to me so doesn't mean it will happen again :)

Congratulations on your pregnancy, i wish I'd of enjoyed mine more instead of panicking about everything but easier said than done i know!

Thank you very much! I'm only young I'm not long turned 18 I should've been starting Uni this year and going abroad with my partner this came as such a shock but a blessing. I am an extremely anxious person as it is and every day since I found out I was pregnant has been a constant worry thank you all for your advice. I have been scheduled for an early pregnancy scan tomorrow hopefully all is okay Confused

The darkness or lightness of tests can be down to loads of factors. Try not to worry. Symptoms come and go as well,
One day you wish you'd stop feeling sick then when you do you panic!

Sorry about your mmc Flowers. I have also had one and know how devasting they can be. Based on my experience, I continued to have very strong lines for a couple of weeks after an erpc. Therefore, I don't think your fainter line is anything to worry about, especially after you have drunk so much water. In addition, it is normal for symptoms to come and go or tail off altogether around the eight week mark. I must have spent every night of the first five months of my last pregnancy googling symptoms because I was so worried I was going to have another mmc, but everything was fine. Congratulations on this pregnancy and maybe see if you can have a private reassurance scan to put your mind at rest?

I'll keep everyone updated on this post. I'm hoping and praying I'm just being paranoid and avoiding this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach. SadThanks

Crossed posts - so glad you have been able to book a scan tomorrow and remember that the odds of miscarrying after eight weeks, when you see the heartbeat, are incredibly low.

It's completely normal for tests to get fainter! Google 'the hook effect' - something to do with the hcg getting to really high levels. Mine was much lighter at 8 weeks than at 6 weeks and all fine.
Ditto symptoms, they will come and go, it doesn't always mean the worst! The fear is horrible, believe me I know it well - but you can't let it take over. Could you ask your GP to refer you to your local EPU for a reassurance scan? Or failing that, can you afford a private scan? An early scan was the only thing that put my mind at rest, and tbh only for a few days. The first 12 weeks or so are just horrible and scary after a MC but you can and will get through them. Flowers and congratulations on your pregnancy!
