33 weeks and exhausted!

I'm 33 weeks today, but been told by my consultant I'm carrying a macrosomic baby and my waters are in the 97th percentile?!

Anyone else in their 3rd trimester feeling exhausted during the day? I got up with my 7yr old at 7am, walked him to school which is about a 45 min round trip and now I'm about ready to pass out! Anyone else feeling the same?

Yes me! I am absolutely shattered! I still have to work until the end of this month and I am counting down the days everyday. I can't wait to finish. I also have excessive fluid due to gestational diabetes and I am huge! Blush. I am 34 weeks this week.

Have they given you a reason for the excess water?

Same here - feeling your pain ladies.

32 weeks and supposed to have another 4 weeks after this one at work but if this SPD gets any worse i'm finishing early, will work out the finer details (finances) I'm sure - the pain and exhaustion just hardly seems worth being in the office for!

Yup. Can't breathe, palpitations, feeling faint, SPD recurs if I walk for more than 5 mins, not sleeping well ... get this baby out! :D

Wow hats off you ladies still working!! I finished 2 weeks ago as I physically couldn't manoeuvre myself and my bump around a busy kitchen without hitting something or someone! Lol

Panther - I Havnt been given a reason for the excess water, they just booked me in for another growth scan on the 4th Feb! Don't know I should be worried or not tbh, I did have a diabetes test at 28 weeks and it came back ok.

Am sure they would have booked you sooner for a scan if they were worried about anything so please don't worry yourself and good that your GD test came back okay. Maybe you could ask your consultant the reason for the excess water at your next appointment. Good luck for your scan and not long to go now Flowers

Yup, another one here that's exhausted - I'm 34 weeks and feel faint and tired every day now. Finished work and am now stuck on the sofa willing myself to feel better - totally feel your pain! x

I keep hearing exhaustion at 32/33 weeks (currently 31 weeks and just feel tired during the day which I can deal with)
I hope it doesn't get worse as I'm going up to 38 weeks

I'm 33 weeks tomorrow, commuting each day from colchester into Central London (2 hours each way), getting up at 5.30am, not getting home still gone 7pm, supposed to be working until 38 weeks (mid feb) but not sure if I'm going to make it that far, I'm shattered! First baby so no other kids to look after yet, hats off to you ladies who are already looking after little ones as well as being pregnant!

Yep 32 weeks and v tired. Also still working - meant to be in the office up to end Feb but currently working from home due to a broken foot! 15 mth old DS but fabulous nanny. Also got a touch of the old evening sickness back again. Ugh. Wharm my God that sounds gruelling!

Wharm! My God!! I honestly have no idea how you manage that plus working!

I really have no place to moan with all you ladies still working! Lol

Ah the evening sickness, I noticed mine making a return but mainly about 4am, usually the same time as my hips making me get up so find myself wandering round the house with a glass of milk and stretching my legs!

Anyone else seem to get a burst of energy in the early evening?

35 wks here and this weekend is my last at work! This is my first pregnancy and I'm pretty shattered but my iron levels were a bit low, so I guess that's why! Sorting that now, though it was picked up late as whoever tests the blood lost one of my blood samples!🙄
I am also impressed by anyone looking after kids as well as being pregnant! Well done to all of you and to those of you working up to 38 wks! I couldn't cope with that.
I'm so tired today as had an evening and a night of continuous Braxton hicks! Was starting to worry everything was kicking off early but it seems to have eased now! Phew!

No evening energy bursts here! I'm ok in the morning at the mo. I have to say that commuting into work I find the most tiring (only 45 mins but jam packed train - yuck) so the upside of the broken foot has been working from home! I'm actually a lot more productive too as nobody to chat to! I'll be back next week but will do shorter days because of foot. Then a couple of weeks in Feb and I'm done.

I have sympathy for you all. Im 33 weeks and really starting to feel the full effects of exhaustion! Was tired but ok until about a week ago. Ive needed to do food shopping all week but couldn't face the shops. Will be working full time up til 37 weeks and its crazy busy and very demanding, worked 8am til 10pm last night with a break in the middle for dinner!

Starting to feel like i dont have any time to relax or just have 'me time', bought lots of books i haven't had time to read yet. And starting to feel very uncomfortable now, baby's movements today have really hurt! Rant over, i wouldnt change being pregnant for anything but it is a lot harder than i ever imagined!
