A lot of EWCM at 24 weeks pregnant..

Sorry if tmi, but wanted to check.. I'm 24 weeks pregnant with twins and had a lot of what I can only describe as EWCM today, started as a few 'blobs' this morning and increased throughout the day. First pregnancy so no first hand comparisons. Has anyone else had this/ is it quite normal?

Thanks in advance Smile

I've been worrying about this too - 21 weeks and happened the last couple of days. Know it can't be my plug as I had a good 4cm cervix at scan yesterday so interested to hear responses.

Totally normal. I've been getting this since about week 19 and midwife says it's fine. Still getting it at week 27.

As long as you're not getting any itching/burning alongside it, or huge gushes.

But also I'll give the usual advice - if in any doubt, call your midwife even just for reassurance.

Thank you so much, it's difficult when you've never been pregnant before and dont know what the norm is! seeing midwife on Tuesday so will double check.

I don't think there is such a thing as normal when it comes to pregnancy as each experience can be different with each baby but I think it always helps to hear others are having the same experience!

I also emphasise that there should be no worry in asking an expert though! I spent some time in the same room as a child with Chicken Pox and got a bit worried, even though I knew I'd had it before and it'd be ok and the midwife on the phone was great :)
