I'm 6 weeks and my tits are driving me insane. They feel heavy and sore and were so painful when I woke up this morning. Having a bath hurts!
Any advice from people? Would one of those crop top bras help? I'm open for any advice. Please don't tell me I have another 8 months of it lol

I slept in a sports bra until about 11 weeks when the pain suddenly disappeared thank god I too thought it lasted the duration but I'm 37 weeks now and so far the first 2 months is the worst for boob pain!!

Well that's good to hear :) today has also brought the joyous sensation of feeling like I want to be sick. Work is going to be fun tomorrow lol

I remember that pain! I was on holiday when I found out - had to buy a padded bikini top as they hurt so bad... that's how I knew I was pg actually!

It does stop though, just wear a sports bra at night like Icklepickle said. (Icklepickle - I'm 38 weeks! I had same experience as you, lasted the first trimester then stoped :) Boobs just feeling big and heavy now, lol)

I'm 6 wks tomorrow and I feel your pain! I don't remember having sore boobs when I was pregnant with DS. But this time round it's very sore. They are heavy and sensitive and have grown loads already. That, plus the constant bloating is making me wonder how on earth I'm going to keep it quiet at work until 12 weeks or so!

I bought a smoothing bra as sainsburys called it yesterday. Oh my word I think I want to live in it forever. It's so comfortable and such a relief!

Been gulping ginger and lemon tea today which has helped with the nausea thankfully.

RP do you have the unattractive bump ledge that your boobs flop on top of and then leak everywhere too?

Yes I do Ickle - well did - seems to have dropped now thank god, now I just need to pee all the time, Ohh the leaking, its a large quanitiy but so irregular with timings! I'm not washing my bedsheets until baby is here, suspicious milky stains just stay there now. We don't have a full mirror in our new house yet, so if I catch myself in a shop window I get a bit of a shock. Never realised that no matter how big you feel, you always look much bigger to other people! (sigh).

OP - is this your first baby? This is mine, its not what I expected! :p

It is yes so while all the reading in the world warns you it's not a patch on what it feels like is it! I'm knackered all the time and my boobs hurt. Plus I'm feeling sick but not actually been sick. Which is strangely remedied by eating lol. I'm excited but nervous. I'm only 6+2 so it's a long way off yet. I just hope all runs smoothly :)

Aaw its so exciting, a little secret :) I've been addicted to checking this every day:

I wasn't too sick in the 1st trimester, but I was pretty emotional at times, not so much now, just fed up and excited!

Congratulations by the way!!

I got those crop top bras to sleep in for the first trimester, they ached so much even in bed! Pain eased off at about 11 weeks so I'm afraid you still have a while to go!

I'm 15 weeks and still struggling with boob pain! Although more just nipple pain now. They're so swollen already. I'm living in padded soft sports bras, I refuse to wear a real one!
