Yesterday I started getting this strange sensation in my crotch, and after a bit of poking I realised I'm really swollen down below, but only in the region where I tore with DD. I'm not exactly sure how I tore, but I think it was diagonal through the right hand side.
It was a second degree tear but it took quite a long time to heal and remained swollen for about 8 weeks. Since then, I've been aware of the scar tissue but it hasn't caused me any harm.
Is it normal for scar tissue to react like this? Baby has definitely dropped so I'm wondering if it's just the pressure of its head?
