Hi all, still ploughing my way through Xmas leftovers and party food....just had 2 small chicken tikka pasties which the pack states can be eaten hot or cold. So I ate them cold but then only thought after doing so 'should I be eating this" google hasn't helped :-/ it just said pasties should be warmed through so I'm packicking Confused

The pack the pasties came in should be your guide - not google.

As I said, the pack stated they could be eaten hot or cold. It was only after eating them that I wondered if they were safe to eat cold when pregnant. Safe to say they're in the bin now.

You can eat cold pasty when pregnant.

Check NHS page for pregnancy food guidelines. That should be your first port of call.

It's designed to be eaten hot or cold. It said so on the pack. So you can presumably eat them hot or cold, unless they contain something (what?!) which guidelines suggest you avoid.

Yes they would be fine unless they state otherwise on the packaging

Calm down. They are pre-cooked so can be eaten hot or cold.

I was wondering the same, YouStill. Unless they were desperately out of date and that was the concern?

Why wouldn't you be able to? This doesn't make any sense to me.
