How pregnant are you and what have you bought so far?

I still don't believe I'm pregnant. Only when I am at a scan it seems real.
So I haven't really been buying stuff yet because it's just too strange haha. I have made a small list though, so progress.
I'm 23 weeks and only have a few 3-6months clothes (a few relatives gave birth last year and have tons of newborn and 0-3 months for me)

It just seems like I'm not on track and everybody has bought a lot by this stage. I want to know what sort of things I should buy too.

I'm 30 wks and so far my only new purchse is a single cuddly toy bought last week. But secondhand I have brought pram/bassinet/ carseat combo and moses basket - from friends of friends. Relatives have given loads of 0-3 month clothes and a couple of 3-6 month outfits also secondhand and my mum is donating a cot that has only been used a couple of times for other grandchildren. I have a small list of other essentials, nappies, muslins etc but figure I have a few weeks to plan and buy. And I know relatives will want to greet baby with gifts too - and will be told 3-6 month clothes are needed.

Really? People have bought loads by this stage? I'm 21 weeks, have my anomaly scan tomorrow (at last!!) and have been delaying deciding various things until after that "just in case" Confused
We have bought nothing! Nada, zip, rien! Somebody bought me a gift when we were about 12 weeks and it totally freaked me out (took it back for store credit as I think it would be too small anyway). We were visiting DP's family for Christmas and he wanted to bring back loads of stuff from her DCs and it freaked me out a bit. Ended up compromising on a baby bjorn (those are spendy!) and some unisex bits and pieces as we aren't finding out what we are having - he wanted to bring pushchair/high chair/cot on the plane!! Men are so bloody ridiculous
So worry not OP, many will be much less organised than you!

30 weeks. Bog all except a buggy, which we only bought as it was on special offer.

Cantbelieveimquittingcoffee - I'm 21 weeks and have scan tomorrow too! Smile Race to labour ward?

I've got nothing. I'll rake DS's things out the loft for rewashing and checking in a month or so then buy when I'm 7/8 months probably. I'd never buy before 6months ish. Too anxious.

I didn't really buy anything until about 28 weeks.
35 weeks now and have pretty much everything except a mattress for the cot but we won't need that for 6 months.

I'm 13.5 weeks and so far haven't bought a thing! I've had a donation of a cot and granny to be has already produced a couple of teeny cardigans off the knitting pins!
I was planning on looking at some shops today though and seeing what I can pick up in the sales. Just the basic wee things like baby grows and Muslim squares. Maybe I'm too early then?

I'm 34 weeks and have most things now I think. The baby will be in with me in the spare room for 6 months so we will decorate his nursery in that time (currently it's the study). We have a co sleeping bassinet we need to strap to the bed, we have a new mattress for a cot that we'll but second hand off eBay once I finish co sleeping. It's fab quality and reduced to £20 in Kiddicare (they have lots of clearance mattresses so worth a look if you're anywhere near Peterborough.

The main thing I need to do is bring a second chest of drawers up from the garage to put all the newly washed clothes in and pack a hospital bag!!

31 weeks with DD2. Have bought nothing, but am planning at some point to get a new Motarola video monitor (last one was a lifeline for 2 years until it finally conked). Otherwise my recollection from DD1 was that in fact, we don't need much gear apart from cot & buggy. Plus, there is time to shop (online) after baby arrives.

I'm 24 weeks with DC1 and I'm only just becoming convinced that I might be having a baby! Grin

So nothing so far. Actually I have just ordered a Sleepyhead. I'm going to start organising the bigger essentials that take a while to choose - travel system (hate that term!), bedside cot, cot bed and then get the smaller things after that - vests, sleepsuits, muslins, nappies, change mat, bath, breast pads, lanisoh!

I haven't made my list yet. I like to think I'll just get the sensible essentials, but I may go mad and get everything down to some sheep I've heard about that glows in the dark and emits comforting womb-like sounds Smile

I'm 28 weeks & I think that we've got pretty much everything that we need, all bar the crib that we're holding off getting until we've moved into the new house & need a few bits of bedding for the crib. It's about the only area of my life I'm organized at present.

17 weeks and not bought one thing. But it is my second so I'm hoping to re-use most stuff.

37 weeks and have 99% of things, including witch hazel, cotton wool etc.

We got most of our stuff second hand and as I was very fussy about the condition and price I started watching stuff on eBay and gumtree and selling sites from around 17weeks but apart from a great deal on a pram I didn't buy anything until after the anomaly scan.

If you have the money put aside (we didn't, surprise baby!) And want everything new then you can get it all in a couple of hours online shopping to be delivered a few days later.

20 weeks and waiting until after my scan next week (although if I'm honest I'd leave it until the last couple of weeks if it wasn't for dp eager to start purchasing). I still can't quite believe it's going to happen.

Bought the pram at 17 weeks due to super duper special offer but otherwise didn't get anything else until 30 weeks plus. 36+5 today and still have a list but it's nothing a 24hr supermarket won't take care of.

23 weeks with DD2 and I am so surprised by how organised I am! I have all the major puchases done - carseat, pushchair, snuzpod, clothes. All I have left to do is the gargantuan task of painting and decorating the nursery.

30 weeks with DS1 and got most things bar the cot mattress (which he won't need till 6 months old ish anyway!)

I have no "essentials" such as nappies, cotton wool etc. I also have nothing at all for my hospital bag!

This is my third baby and I'm 19 weeks (I think). Unless we have a boy this time I won't need to buy much as we have it all already, but I have bought a tiny baby sleepsuit for the baby to wear home from hospital and a little merino thermal top for winter. I like my babies to have their own new outfit to come home in. Blush

25 weeks today-my sister had my dnephew a year ago so we're being given a lot of his things, I've bought a monitor and steriliser. We're being given a cot bed and pram. I've only bought one baby grow! We have a very small house so I don't want to fill it with things just yet!

28 weeks and we have 3 vests and a toy bunny... All of which were Christmas presents. We haven't got any 2nd hand donations from friends/family, and this is our first baby so we don't have anything knocking about in the loft either... Honestly, if you came to our house you'd never think we were planning to bring a baby back here in less than 3 months!
I was planning on having a bit of a whizz round the sales, but now they're here I'm still putting it off... This poor child is going to end up sleeping in a cardboard box while we emergency shop online after we come home! Blush

32 weeks have everything except changing bag (can't find one I like), nappies and formula.

But I'm being a total paranoid freak as blood pressure started rising at 26 weeks and I went in early with dd 1 and wasn't quite ready so actually want to be ready this time. Smile
