Anyone else so nauseous / sick ...

That they can't enjoy Christmas?
I was trying to help DH prepare the food but the smell and look of meat is making me wretch. Couldn't manage my breakfast, have since been eating malteasers as I can't stomach anything else. Also think I'm coming down with something, sore head, throat and cough. Moan moan moan Sad
On the other hand it will all be worth it because even though DH has to do all the cooking, I'm 'cooking' the most important thing Grin

Yes me! I'm only 5 weeks but the nausea I've had over the last week has been horrible! Yesterday, the GP gave me some anti-emetics which do seem to have helped a bit. I'm just so food adverse atm! Yesterdays food shop was awful - it felt like the food was taunting me! Currently living on cheddar cheese and soup, so my Christmas dinner will be a very festive can of Heinzes finest!

Hope you feeling a bit better. Glad your dp is being lovely. My dh is also being fab. Keeps on going to get me drinks so I don't have to look at the food in the fridge!

I'm miserable. 14 weeks today and still feel like crap.
I can't do anything without getting a head rush and/or wretching.

DH is a saint and doing everything while I'm snappy and off everything.

Sulking because I was looking forward to Christmas with our 2 and 3 year old and thought being a fortnight past 12 weeks that I'd be feeling better by now.

I hate Christmas smells and I dread this feeling coming back next year when I smell it all again. With DC1 the smell of the perfume I wore during that time still makes me feel ill, as does the taste of the toothpaste I used at the time - that was over 4 years ago.

Kaytee and Scoop - hope you're holding out OK. And hats off to you Scoop for coping with two dc's already! I may have already told my dh that if I have many more weeks of this ahead of me, then we're having an only!

Discovered plain jacket potatoes last night as per my mum's recommendation. They sat quite well in my stomach until MIL came and ate some hot cheese pastry things next to me. :-/ Other than that it's potato waffles, crackers and smoothies.

I'm starting to wonder if I have my dates right for this pregnancy. If I am 5 weeks 4 days, it just seems so early for it to be this bad. I can't do anything in the kitchen as the sight and smell of everything sets me off. :-(

I'm 9 weeks tomorrow, so tired I can barely keep my eyes open and have that horrible metallic taste in my mouth. Lemon curd wraps help as the lemon works against the bitterness and the wraps give my tummy something inside it to work on. I desperately want a cup of tea but the taste is just bitterness personified - yuk!!!
