When does everything stop smelling awful?

I'm 11 weeks and suffering from morning sickness that's almost always brought on by smells. The trouble is that I work as a barista in a well know coffee chain and the smell of the coffee makes me turn. I've been unable to make coffee for 4 weeks, instead I'm stuck on the till all day. If I accidentally breathe through my nose around the coffee machine it's just a short countdown til I have to run to the loo. What makes it worse is my boss gave me a row for leaving the till unattended when I run off to be sick! My question is if and when did strong smells stop bothering you? Is it just the same time as when your morning sickness dwindled?

You should have asked if he'd prefered if you'd been sick on the customer instead.
Mine started to fade at about 13-14 weeks. I still have the strong sense of smell but it doesn't make me feel sick now. It's different for everyone in afraid but hopefully not too much longer for you x

Same time as morning sickness for me, which was 11 ish weeks 1st time & 14weeks this time. Coffee was one of my bleurgh smells this time too but started liking it again which is handy as I need a wee bit of caffeine to help with the all encompassing knackerdness!

Yes super nose went away along with much of the nausea after about 13 to 14 weeks for me too. It will get better. Sorry your boss sounds really crap but you do need to explain your predicament to him/ her!

Thanks everyone. I was under the impression that it was a full 9 month curse! My boss knows I'm pregnant, he's just not happy about it. What can you do eh?
