Hi ladies,
I will be 28 weeks pregnant from tomorrow and could do with a grumble! Apologies in advance.
This is my second pregnancy, I have a daughter of 3 and work 3 days a week.
I am tired all the time at the moment. Anybody else feeling like this? I take an iron supplement but every time I sit down I feel the need to sleep!
I also feel huge - much bigger than the first time and don't feel I can take another 12 weeks of this!
Sorry- wasn't the happiest of posts! x

Moan away and I'll join you!

I'm 30 weeks and have been feeling incredibly tired for the last 5 weeks or so. My iron levels are fine I think my tiredness is done to a very active 3.5 year old that doesn't sit still! I also feel absolutely massive. At my 28 week appointment I was measuring 32 weeks - the midwife thinks I have more amniotic fluid that normal. I just feel so much more uncomfortable with this pregnancy than I did my first. I'm done and there's still bloody ages to go!

I will join you both, only 24 weeks so way behind but already struggling!

Back pain and pelvic pain is keeping me up all night and have just spent £5 on some heat pads to help!

And I miss sleeping on my back haha!

You both already have daughters so hats off to you, I just have myself and that's hard enough!

I feel the same, I'm 35 weeks and my youngest is 13 months and is poorly atm.
I have an autistic child as well who is finding this time of year challenging.
My 15 year old is just getting over major surgery to his ankle and is just starting to get on his feet.
I could do with a good nap but even if my youngest is napping my body just doesn't want to switch of.
I get all twitchy and then frustrated so I give up.

I'm almost 28 weeks pg with my 2nd and I also feel and look huge and could sleep all day. I do have complications which are prob making me worse but I just can't wait till he's out. My only consolation is that I've only got 9 weeks left as I'll be induced at 37 weeks if he stays in that long.
I feel a bit guilty because I was given steroids at 23 and a half weeks as there is a big chance he could come any time. I just keep thinking the longer he's in there the better. Have a piece of well deserved Cake and a Brew

Oh thank you ladies - I feel better knowing I'm not alone!
Life is currently a juggle of daughter/nursery/childcare/hospital appointments/work/Christmas and running a house!
Thank you for your understanding! 😉

Yep, I'm now 29 weeks pregnant and exhausted. Pelvic pressure is keeping me up at night lately, actually felt like my waters were going to break last night! Looking forward to finishing work at Xmas and putting my feet up for a couple of months the baby arrives. Seriously sleep deprived and I feel like I see my toilet more than my partner these days, think baby is just crushing my bladder! That's my rant over! 👍

Totally exhausted here. 29 weeks with DC3 (have a 5 yo and 2 yo) and working FT as a teacher. Barely sleeping and when I do I get horrific nightmares. I could cry!

Sorry you're all suffering too :-( Flowers
I'm 26 weeks today & seriously fed up with sciatica, back & hip pain, I can't sleep because I can't lie down; there's no comfortable position! So tired as a result. & I thought the bloody sickness had abated, but apparently not! Oh well, it was a good 4 weeks whilst it lasted, at least it's not all day, every day any more. (Fingers crossed!)

I'm 24wks with my second, my DS is 2. I feel enormous (much bigger than last time), am massively missing the Christmas drinking and eating, very tired and still feel sick. It will all be worth it but it is hard to keep plugging on through! Moan away... I feel better for it anyway! :-)

tiggery have you mentioned the back and hip pain to your midwife. I had that a few weeks ago then about 3 days ago I woke up feeling like I'd been riding a bike all night. I feel like I'm bruised down there. I mentioned it to my obstetric consultant today and she said it was pelvic girdle pain and has referred me for physio. It's a terrible pain. They might be able to help you.

Can I join? I'm 20 weeks with my second so have bloody ages to go! My two year old is exhausting and hard work. I suffer from hyperemesis, sciatic pain and have been signed off for a week with a bleed after only being back at work for 4 weeks. I feel like utter crap! Unable to sleep due to pain and nausea even though I'm shattered. I feel huge already and I'm only half way there. I tell you ladies...I'm done with pregnancy!

To those that are suffering from hip and back pain I suggest seeing an osteopath. I'd been in a lot of discomfort especially when lying in bed trying to sleep. I saw an osteopath last week and the difference it's made is amazing! He did some massage/manipulation and that night was the first night I got some decent sleep in weeks. I gave up waiting for my physio appointment after requesting a referral and still not getting an appointment 4 weeks later.
