Can the pregnancy hormone stick around and show up in a pregnancy test 6 weeks after a miscarriage?

Unless there is retained tissue, it is unlikely. You'd expect it to be negative 3-4 weeks after a full term delivery.

Hope it is good news for you. Xmas Smile

Okay thank you :)

Think I'll retest in the morning and see if the line is any clearer x

About 4 weeks is the max, anything after that is likely a new pregnancy.

Yes! Mine stayed for 7-8 weeks! I ended up with scans and everything was normal. Even with the tissue I lost 1 weeks after its still should have been away just a week later at 5-6 weeks. Some women take longer it also depends on how high your hormones were. Mine were extremely high for 12 weeks xx
