Hi all, I wonder if anybody can give me any advice. I'm a week late and I took a pregnancy test on Saturday 5th December but it came back negative even though I'm having all the symptoms I had when I was pregnant with my 1st baby. I've recently got over a UTI and I'm terrified that my missed period could be due to kidney stones as I know you can develop kidney stones after a UTI. Has anybody experienced this or had a similar feeling. All advice is much appreciated 😊

Hi

My period is 5 days late and I am always on time. Did a tesco pregnancy test on Friday and was negative and done another one this morning and again negative. Still no sign of my period coming, but I have persistent lower abdominal cramps like I get just before my period is due, I have a white/yellow discharge, constantly needing to pee, very tired and no energy, started feeling nauseated but not been sick, my breasts are really tender and feel heavy. could I be pregnant?

Hi both - we're going to pop this over to the Pregnancy topic.

Only way you're going to know for sure is testing. Try clear blue tests, they're far more responsive. If it comes out negative and you've still not had a period after about 5 days, test again.

I used a clear blue test today but it was negative and I'm now 6 days late. I went to see my GP today who has advised that I wait another week and do another test and if its negative and I still haven't had a period they are going to do a blood test x

Ive always thought that the clear blue ones weren't very reliable and it was first response or super drug own brand which were the best to go with. Maybe give one of those a go?
