Help! I can't bloody sleep!

25 weeks today and struggling to carry on.
Thursday night I managed four one hour naps and last night was up between 1:30-4:30 and then slept for a five hours but was up three times during those hours.

I'm exhausted and crying tears of frustration during the night, I still have my morning sickness and when I cry I gag and I have a stinking cold to.

As soon as I lie down for bed I have this unbearable urge to move my calfs and can't stop focusing on the feelings. It's keeping me awake and I'm miserable. I've tried bananas, milk, raising my legs, a bath before bed so far. I've also started back on pregnancy vitamins- seven seas. I had great iron levels at booking app but I know this can change. I have them re checked at 28 weeks.

Please help I can't survive work next week like this, normally I hit the pillow and I'm out for ten hours

I had this. I was genuinely down to about 2 hours per night by the 3rd trimester. It will probably be making your morning sickness worse.

Recommend you ask for help from your GP and/or midwife. Re the frequent urination, you could possibly have a UTI (they don't always cause pain). My GP also gave me a certain type of antihistamines, which can cause drowsiness as a side effect (I'm not sure if they can still do this but it's worth asking).

At the very least, you need it logged. By about 30 week I was hallucinating due to sleep deprivation & nearly walked infront of a car on more than one occasion. Please don't let people tell you it's not a problem.

Oh that sounds awful :(
I have been tested for a uti last week it came back negative. Had a sample sent to hospital for culture and nothing showed.
I feel tired but the second I try to sleep I need to move my legs all the time.
It's making my sickness worse and if it doesn't get better I will need signing off work as I won't be able to function getting up at 6:30 and getting home at 5:45

Have you tried having a window open and a maternity pillow or one of those v-shaped pillows and lie propped up a little bit but in your side? I really feel for you... I can't sleep and I'm 34 weeks. Mat leave starts soon thank God..

I was signed off work from 28 weeks, due to the severity of the insomnia, plus random severe drops in blood pressure which led to me frequently fainting. Please ask for help ASAP, it's absolutely rotten & you shouldn't have to pit up with it.

Just a thought - have you tried one of those hypnotherapy type sleep things? Like Paul McKenna or something. I used the weight loss one & it often made me sleep!

Definitely recommend a memory foam mattress or mattress topper. Makes bump so much more comfortable and supported.
Not sure how much it'll help the restless legs, but at least if the rest of you is more comfortable you might feel more relaxed.
I really noticed the difference when I stayed at other people's houses with both my pregnancies.
