I really need some maternity tights but want to see before I buy, especially as I want some nude colour and want to avoid American tan colour! There is a m & p nearby so wondered if that was a good starting point, or will it be all prams and nursery furniture?

Are you oop North? If so, try the M&P outlet near junction 25 of the m62 at Brighouse. They usually have lots of clothing bargains to be had.
Aside from that, yes my local M&P sells tights, but the mothercare ones are also pretty good - and generally I don't like the mothercare clothing range at all.

My local mama's & papa's got rid of all their maternity clothes for a while and now has only 1 rail of basic items. I got some fab maternity tights in store at Debenhams though and more rcently ordered cheap but good ones from George at Asda (I'm very pale and can confirm they weren't too American tan!).

I got some fab maternity tights from H&M. I'm pretty sure that most of their stores stock maternity too. I know our local mamas and papas don't sell maternity clothes.

All the ones in Ireland do anyway. They are expensive though, I prefer H&M, a little bit funkier and a lot cheaper! Although i agree with Runningup, the mothercare stuff is the most horrendous of the lot- talk about wanting us to look 90 and ugly!!!!!!!!

I'm an ASOS girl myself, just picked this up for my work Xmas party. Will spruce it up with some sparkly stuff..
