'You look xyz, so I think you're having a boy/girl' comments

When I was 16-19 weeks I had a horrible breakout, spots all over my face. My best friend (not English) said: 'You're having a boy. Baby girls give you amazing skin. I had that when carrying my daughter. But boys make you breakout.'

Now 23 weeks, face all cleared out suddenly, and people remark how well I look. Yesterday another friend (European) said: 'You look great, I'm guessing it's a boy??'

So I am having a boy, but they guessed by using completely opposite rationale?? Hmm

Are you getting these comments and are these theories mostly BS?

I have a neat, low bump. Therefore it's a girl according to everyone. It isn't. It's a boy - according the accidental penis sighting on our last scan!

I've carried my bumps all 6 of them the same way, I've felt sick in all of my pregnancys, spots always seem to be a lot better when I'm pregnant.
And I have 3 boys and two girls, I am 31 weeks with a girl.

I love the bump guessing game! A friend of mine is pg and she has a waist still so I guessed a boy as my boy baby bumps were like that. She's having a girl!! Don't start on the heartburn =hairy baby,as that's true too!!

Generally a lot of rubbish although I do think that a low bump was generally always a boy, all the bumps that ive met have tuned out to be boys

My bump is low so most people think I'm having a boy... 16 weeks before we find out
