Don't feel very pregnant all of a sudden ...

I am 14 weeks and 3 days and had my first scan a week ago; everything appeared fine. It was quite incredible actually! But I suddenly don't have many pregnancy symptoms; is this normal? I have had fleeting headaches, but keep worrying as when I fall asleep (if I manage!) I keep waking up on my back or slightly tilted onto my front!
I am sure my mind is just going into over drive!

Not sure it's much help but I didn't find out till I was 36 weeks pregnant and I slept on my front right up till I knew, baby is now 11 months and happy and healthy.

My pregnancy symptoms disappeared after about 12 weeks but everything was fine, so try to relax and enjoy your pregnancy Smile

Yes that was my experience.

I felt very PG and wretched for 12 weeks. Then when the 2nd trimester kicked in I got my glow on. Much of the glow was simply feeling normal again after so long! I even had a couple of dreams around this time where I "forgot" I was PG and went out and got really drunk :) - oh the horror of those dreams.

Make the most of it before the tiredness that can come back in the 3rd trimester.
And you will start to feel tiny kicks soon enough to remind you you are PG - about 18/20 weeks from memory.

My symptoms dropped off a cliff last Sunday (at 12+1) - literally overnight! Still feel tired and probably not as into my snacks as usual, but I've gone from feeling and looking like something from night of the living dead to, well - just averagely rough!

Try to relax. I think it's normal at this stage to have reduced symptoms.
Smile

Sorry to hijack thread but Ark, how did you not know you were pregnant till you were 36 weeks? Did you not get bigger, feel movement?

I sleep on my back where I naturally turn in my sleep (only happened this way since getting pregnant) spoke to midwife and she suggested that i put a pillow under just 1 side of my back so I'm just off balance as it were. MW said that the baby will tell you (when your more pregnant) that it wants you to move by kicking you. I wouldn't worry about it. I stopped sleeping on my stomach when it became uncomfortable. I find having a pregnancy pillow very helpful and I can sleep more side/front ways using it then also have it to sleep on my back

Completely normal at that stage of pregnancy..I felt exactly the same it's so odd how it happens and you find yourself thinking that but trust me in a few weeks it will all change! At 20 to 25 weeks it really starts to kick in

Frances I put a bit of weight on but I had been mega pigging out on carbs and white bread which don't agree with me so put it down to bloating. Didnt really feel proper kicks till right at the end but now I think what I thought was wind was Infact kicks. Dd is made of tough stuff as I fell off my horse onto my front a few weeks before I found out!
