Hi everyone,

Found out a week and half ago I was pregnant did 3 test with both strong lines. I have had severe cramping and bleeding. It lasted 3 days. Then passed a clot the size of a golf ball. It was dark red and then I checked it and it looked like lining. I have had my HCG levels checked through a blood test. And the nurse said it was high and that was good. That was a week ago and now I've had another one I haven't had the results to see if it's gone up. But I did another pregnancy test just to see if it would still say pregnant and it showed one dark line and then a really faint line. I carnt stop reading and reading stuff online. But would like to know if anyone's had symptoms like me and its worked out for the best and they have had an healthy pregnancy. Confused worrying so much. This is my first ever pregnancy aswell. X

Its very hard not to worry, and I won't bother telling you not to read stuff online as I didn't manage to stop doing it either....

When do you get the results of your second blood test?

I can't understand why they can't somehow rush the results rather than leave you to wait the whole weekend, its so agonizing waiting.

There isn't anything I can really say to help but I am thinking of you and hoping for a happy ending for you.

Keep posting if it helps, there are some lovely people on MNet who have held my hand through a horrible wait in the past. Flowers

Thankyou mane , it wasn't good news. My starting HCG level on Monday 12th was 1962 and then Friday the 16th it had dropped to just 181. Doctors and hospital have both confirmed it. I have miscarried at 6 weeks 3 days. Thanks so much for the support that you have given me Flowers I really appreciate it. Xx

Flowers for you Cezzie.
This happened to me too. It happens so much more than I knew. I found it so difficult to deal with people not knowing I had lost my baby, and life just carrying on as if nothing had happened. It felt so unfair that nobody even knew he/she existed. I gradually told my friends and colleagues, which helped in my case. I also bought a charm for my bracelet and I wear it/hold it even kiss it when I want to think about my baby I never got to meet. I fell pregnant 2 months later and gave birth to a healthy baby boy. All the best.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that. Flowers

(I dropped my laptop on Monday and didn't get it back till tonight, so I had been thinking about you but unable to read your post until now.)

I lost the baby from my first ever pregnancy too, and it is so hard.

I was so sad about my baby and also so scared that things would go wrong again or that it would never happen for me. Like Carbolic, though, I also went on to have a healthy baby boy in the end. I'm telling you that as it helped me to know that others who had been through the same loss did go on to have a child, and I hope it will be a comfort to you, too.
