Hi everyone,

Which vibrating chair seat do people recommend?

Sorry for all of the questions but with less than 4 weeks to go, rapidly trying to get my act together and purchase everything we need!

I can offer one that I DON'T recommend helpful Grin

MIL but us a very expensive one from Mamas and Papas. It had all the bells and whistles - a billion different vibrate settings, a light show thing and (dear god) an iPod connection for music. DS HATED IT Grin

This time round I will be buying an extremely cheap and cheerful one, possibly one that just bounces, and hoping this baby enjoys it.

We got ds a vibrating chair he hated it, this time we won't be buying a vibrating chair.

I have 7 weeks left I need to get my act together too ....

I agree! No vibrating thing, just get the cheapest one you can. I think mine was £15 from mothercare and has done both of them.

The cheaper it is, the easier I found it to bounce with your foot. Definitely don't waste money on a vibrating chair thing.

I got the fisher price woodsy friends one for about a fiver on eBay and it's magic for just long enough for me to have a shower or eat my lunch. Check out your local Facebook baby selling page or eBay

Go cheap and cheerful! I always had the basic bouncer from Mothercare and it did the job just fine. Better to use the money on other things Smile

DS hated all chairs, got about 5 minutes use out of ours. I'd say it's more a nice to have, if your baby likes it, rather than an essential

Mines just a bouncy one off eBay for a fiver. I figure if baby likes it I can invest in one when bubs is here, I'm not spending £30/£40/£50+ on something I may not use at all!
