Baby kicking ?!

Hi all ! I'm 18/40 tomorrow and wasn't expecting much in the way of movement as I've been told my placenta is at the front however I've had little "pin prick" feelings (not painful!) and was wondering if it could be the startings of movement? I've seen it described as being "flicked from the inside" so thought it could be?! I've been having the usual round ligament stretchy pains as this is our first baby so maybe I'm mistaking one for the other ?! Thoughts ?? Xx

My placenta's on the front and, like you, first baby so all sensations new to me. It was around 17/18 weeks that i first felt movement that i knew wasn't wind! Mine were a range of feelings - rolls like when going over a bridge in the car and flicks. I'd say what you're feeling is baby. See how it progresses over the next few weeks. Cute! :-D

I'm 21+2 and I've got an anterior placenta as well.

I've not felt kicks as much but I do get a rolling, churning sensation - like I'm on a roller coaster for example.

I got really worried I wasn't feeling anything was told I would feel proper kicks by 25 weeks

Ooh it might just be! Hurrah ! It's the was it? Wasn't it? I'll be properly on the look out now as I wasn't expecting anything to soon, just makes things all the more real again! Thank you ladies all the very best with your pregnancies !!! Xxx
