41+2 today. I've had two sweeps and am still only 1cm, although MW says my cervix is very soft.

I'm fed up. This is my second baby ...... I don't feel like anything is going to happen!
Induction is booked for Friday... A water birth won't be allowed apparently.

Hmmmmmmm

DiL has gone in this am, she's four days over too with second baby so we're here with DGD, had two sweeps already too.
It won't be long now, good luck. Smile

I went 15 days over before anything started to happen with my second. I resisted induction and opted for monitoring instead, but had the baby before any monitoring started.

If you don't want to be induced there are other options. It's your choice and they can't make you. Good luck!

RedZ

I don't want to be induced at all. I'm nervous Gough of them guilting me out of it. The MW said I can happily say No thanks to it, and a 'stern word' is given from the consultant.

I just hate the idea of speeded up pain.

Ended up in the hospital last night with very reduced movements. Everything's fine now after being on a trace for 45 mins the baby is fine.

However im unable to sleep, so horribly uncomfortable. I've slept about 50 mins tonight and I'm up now, I give up trying.

I've to to back in for another trace tomorrow and lift accept the induction. They sent me home hoping I'd go into labour spontaneously but no.

I don't rembee being so uncomfortable last time, it's tipping my sanity over the edge at this point.
