Worried about ectopic pregnancy

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and today a very bad shoulder pain has started in my right shoulder. I've never had a pain in my shoulder before and it's really effecting me.

I know shoulder tip pain could be a sign of ectopic pregnancy so now I've started panicking. I rang 111 and they said just see my GP tomorrow.

Just wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced shoulder pain for no apparent reason? What else should I look out for? How do I know if things are worse and I should go to a&e? I've been feeling very unwell for a few days but put that down to being pregnant!

Pain have you any pain at all I had shoulder tip pain in this pregnancy and alot of stomach pain which ended up being an ovarian cyst rupturing. Go to a&e if you think you do have one as you cannot leave something like that to change

Thanks! I'll see how it gets on. I've got no other pain or signs of eptopic. I have 2 other kids so perhaps I've hurt it picking them up or something?
I'll book in to see my GP in the morning to be on the safe side!

Hi channingswife I was in hospital on Saturday with sharp stomach pain on one side, they are worried it could be ectopic, got to go back tomorrow for more blood tests to check hcg levels, they asked several times if I had shoulder tip pain which I didnt/don't, if you don't have stomach pain id say that's a good sign, however I definitely would speak to someone first thing tomorrow, it's not worth risking it. I was told that because ectopic can be so dangerous they want to monitor me closely, I'm 5 weeks. I'm sure everything will be ok for you, just think best to check it out :) x
