Bleeding in very early pregnancy

Hi, I found out yesterday that I'm pregnant. The clear blue test says 1-2 weeks which sounds right.
Since yesterday morning I've been bleeding on and off, not a huge amount, just when I wipe. I stopped last night and this morning but has just started again.
I've had very mild cramping too, not pain just more like discomfort when you have wind.

I haven't booked any doctor/midwife appointments yet as I'm thinking, wait a week and do another test.

Has anyone else had anything similar?

Is the bleeding red or brown? It could be implantation bleeding. How far along are you, when was your last period as that's when you date the pregnancy from. If it continues you could phone your gp on Monday it's unlikely they'll do much, probably just wait and see. They may do bloods for hcg levels if the bleeding gets worse. Hope you're ok.

It's bright red or pink. My last period started 12th August. I was due on 4 days ago which is why I took the test yesterday. I don't think I'd be as worried if I didn't have the cramping pain. But I just don't know it's it something totally unrelated!
Thanks for your reply x

I can't give you any answers I'm afraid as I'm currently going through the same thing, only I am not sure how far along I am due to very irregular periods, but think I'm just over 4 weeks, I've been spotting since that Fri night and it has reduced a little then increased again, been at its worst since yesterday afternoon but is only when I wipe, its not reached the liners I've been putting on! I have had very light cramps but nothing to say ouch about, I've had previous miscarriages so am not too hopeful, but my hcg levels were increasing earlier this week. I have been referred to the epau, but they can't do anything yet, as the other poster has said it may be worth a visit to the gp for hcg bloods, but that's something only you can decide on, and waiting for the results is stressful in itself and for me personally hasn't really given me any answers ?? fingers crossed that it all works out for you

Worryingmum2015 it sounds like the exact same symptom as me. I'm trying to remember my first pregnancy. I'm sure I bled a bit but I don't remember cramping. I remember the doctor told me to just try the test again in a week to see if it was still positive.
I'm trying to just not worry too much.
Fingers crossed for you too x
