Having elcs? How much labour prep are you doing?

This is my 3rd baby, due to GD and previous section I'm having an elcs this time. But only today it has dawned on me that just because my date is set for the cs, I could actually go into labour at any time and I haven't really prepared for this. As my section isn't absolutely compulsory, I suppose if I start spontaneously I might stick with it and see how I get on (have had normal delivery 12 years ago) with vbac. Anyone else in this position? Have you written a just in case birth plan? really thought I knew what I was doing this time

I'm in a similar position, ELCS isn't signed off yet until I see the consultant, but if labour progresses too quickly I might end up with a VBAC anyway. This happened to my friend, she was down for an ELCS due to back problems but baby was almost out when she got to hospital, so I think it's wise that everyone reads up on both.
My birth plan isn't finished but is quite basic anyway - I think I'll see how it goes on pain relief etc, and as I'll be on the ward being monitored most things are decided anyway to a point. Vitamin K and skin to skin etc you can put on a birth plan for however you deliver.
Hope it goes well
