Hi guys, I just started on clexane injections after finding out I'm pregnant (about 4weeks) for the third time this year, I had a mmc at 9 weeks at the end of April and then a mc at 5 weeks in June. I also have lupus. Does anyone else have any experience with clexane? I'm not feeling hopeful this time around as I don't really 'feel pregnant'. I'm very fortunate to have 2DCs already but am desperate for number 3! Thank u so much for listening Smile

Yep I'm a clexane crack whore and a recurrent miscarriage peep as well. Welcome to the club.

I've had 3 mcs in a row and am now 16 weeks pregnant. I took progesterone until 12 wks and I've been on clexane from 6 weeks and have to take until at least post 20 el scan.

It's absolutely fine. Still feels strange injecting myself but it doesn't hurt. The needle is really sharp and fine. It goes in your tummy, just grab a roll of flesh and push the needle in and just push the plunger . You'll feel and hear it click.

When you pull the needle out, the protective sheath will come down automatically. Then just bin in your sharps box.

It stings a bit afterwards. Similar to getting vinegar or nail polish remover on a cut and that's it. It's so easy so please don't worry.

Good luck with this pregnancy. Have the faith, I know it's hard

Thank u, injecting myself doesn't bother me at all, I think I'm just worried I'm going to mc again anyway, I hope everything works out well for you xx
