Hot flushes!

I'm currently 29 weeks and have turned in to a right sweaty Betty shock. I have these episodes of getting really hot and flustered and sweaty.... and sometimes a bit lightheaded with it. Quite often happens when eating my meal or after a hot drink.

I presume this is another hormonal delight? Anyone else suffering?

I am! Just started happening to me. I genuinely believed it was really hot, had no idea it was just me!

Very normal. You have a mini radiator inside you and your body is working extra hard to regulate temperature of you and your tiny human. Eating raises metabolic rates to digest the food making you warmer, which is amplified by the tiny human as your body is working on two heat sources at once!

Thank you! Yes, mini radiator is exactly how it feels!
