Hello! Please can I? 39+5 today. Thought I was in labour 2 weeks ago (show, cramps etc) and it came to nothing! So trying to be patient Grin
I've had 4 weeks annual leave and mat leave officially starts today, Woop!
What do you have planned for this week?

Only 37+6. But being induced Friday, so sort of due same time? Desperately hoping he's here by the end of Saturday! My first induction was not short and sweet though, so who knows!
Been off work since early July with al, now on mat leave.

Hello ladies! I have not much planned as don't want to plan too much just in case! Have just done some housework and now watching TV. Might sit in the garden later. Having BH and had some cramps in the night but nothing else. Thought it was starting last Wed as had pains every 15 mins all night but fell asleep and nothing else happened!

I'm the same Ma, avoiding planning anything now but trying to keep busy in the house. Doing some cooking for the freezer today. Might have a wee afternoon bath! Sitting in the garden sounds great, unfortunately I'm in the west of Scotland where summer is yet to make an appearance and we're having wintry showers today! Hmm

Hi OMC!

Hi Lumpy. How exciting that you have an end date in sight already Smile

Do you both know what you're having?

38 weeks tomorrow with dd4 here, genuinely didn't expect to still be pregnant as early with the others. Feeling fed up & like a crappy mum to other dd as i have no energy. Woe is me!

Didyeaye No, we've kept it a surprise! DH thinks we are having a girl, I change my mind daily! What about you?

It is quite nice to have the end in sight I have to be honest. I was well overdue with dd so it's much different, I thought I'd be pregnant forever again!!!
Having a boy this time.
Didy do you know which you're having?

My only plans for the week are sorting the house out ready for once baby's actually here, sooooo much to do still Sad

Me please! 39w2d with DC1 who we're pretty sure is a boy. Also doing a lot of sorting around the house. Not resorted to scrubbing the floors yet Grin

LumpyCustard I'm with you on the house sorting!

Decided to rennovate a few rooms before baby arrived, which turned into a much bigger job than expected! The end is in sight, but I think we will still be glossing skirting boards when baby is here!

Hello! Sorry I went missing in action, baby Didye arrived a day early on the 11th. From start to pushing was 7 hours, arrived at hospital after less than 4 hours, fully dilated and waters missing (not sure when they went!)
Tough few days but home now and absoutely delighted with our wee lass.
Any else have any news?

Massive congrats didye and lumpy! That's amazing news! Do you have names picked out yet?? Nothing here! Had some cramps last night but came to nothing this morning. Went for a long walk yesterday and dtd - might go for another walk later! Am now officially overdue at 40+1 but only have occasional mild period type pains.

My neighbour swears the 3 pints of fresh pineapple juice she drank at a thai restaurant the night before her ds was born was the key lol! Not sure where you can buy it in shops though Confused

Yeap, eventually decided on Adam for my lo.

I'm really glad they didn't let me go full term though, as he'd have probably been almost 10lb!

I hope you don't have to wait much longer. Although, as cheesy and oversaid as it is, it is true that it is worth the wait, and all the hassles and glamour of pregnancy Smile

Congratulations Didye and Lumpy Flowers. No news here at 40+1. Feeling ok apart from near constant heartburn. Looking forward to meeting our DS, hopefully in the next few days.
