Slow movement at 20 weeks

Hi,

We went for our 20 week scan today and they've said they are concerned about the fluid levels and the baby is not really moving. I had to go for a walk and a snack during the scan to hope it moved but only a little. I now have to go back next week for a further scan and a chat with the consultant.

Has anyone else had these issues?

Also to add we were pregnant with identical twins but unfortunately lost one at 17 weeks after being diagnosed with TTTS and having the laser surgery.

Does anyone have any tips on how to get the baby moving? Any foods or drink I can have?

I know they say sugary foods or ice cold drinks can get the baby moving. Fingers crossed all is ok.

I had to have another scan as baby was asleep and they couldn't get all the measurements. I drank ice cold lucozade in the waiting room befkre the second scan and it was moving s little more and they could get measurements. My baby was always just asleep in the mornings at that point in pregnancy. Kicking seven bells out of me now at 34 weeks!

My DD didn't move much throughout my whole pregnancy (which led to me being induced at 39 weeks - no reason found for her not moving much but it was standard procedure for repeated reduced movement instances) but I found that having a bath would help me feel her move, and laying on my back in bed.
