Babies with hair??

I've only had baldies so far but I am suffering something awful with heartburn this pregnancy (never have before) and I curious about that old wives tale and whether there actually is anything in it lol x

Yeah I had horrendous heartburn and my son was quite hairy, so it was def true for me!

Terrible heartburn and reflux throughout, DS had a tiny amount of hair and not much more a year and a half later

I'm on my fifth, never suffered with heartburn in pregnancy before this one and never had a hairy baby before.

We recently had a 3d scan with this baby and the sonographer almost shouted "wow she's got loads of hair!"

Yeah, true for me. Horrendous heartburn and DS was had loads of dark hair. It all fell out and now he has really blonde hair which is more what we were expecting!

Nobody actually believes this old shit, do they? How on earth do you imagine heartburn could possibly be affected by whether the foetus has any hair or not?

Awful heartburn with DS1 and he was born with a head full of blond curls.

Even worse heartburn with DS2 and he had that fine monk like hair cut.

Very true for me. DS had a head FULL of black hair.

Suffering again this time so I expect this one to be really furry too

Had a little bit with DD1 who had a bit of hair but not much, really bad this time and sonographer did say he could see quite a bit of hair so we shall hopefully see within the next week or so!

I had such bad heartburn with ds2 I would vomit a bit if I bent over, in fact I had raging heartburn about a week after having him. He had a full head of dark brown hair . It was proper hair not soft downy baby hair. It didn't fall out and grew to about shoulder length when he was one. It was blonde with brown ends.

SIL had no heartburn with either of her boys and had 2 bald babies!

I had awful heartburn and Gaviscon was my best friend. DD was as bald as they get for a long time before she grew a mohawk and would not grow any other hair until almost a year

Growth scan with DS at 37 weeks and the midwife asked me if I'd been getting lots of heartburn (had it awfully) as the baby had tonnes of hair (you could see the fuzz on the scan). True enough he had lots of hair. DD due next week and expecting lots of hair as I've had wicked heartburn again!

I had awful heartburn with DD. She had a light dusting of hair, not the baby chimp I expected after months of guzzling ASDA heartburn sweets!

Awful heart burn in two pregnancies and both babies born with lots of lovely hair, quite the coiffure on ds1 which never fell out.

I'm currently suffering with hb with my third. So I guess I'm to expect another hairy one.

I suffered really bad with my second and had a baby full of hair. ( didn't get heartburn with first and he was bald) . with my third again had it really bad so thought he would have hair but he was bald when he was born

Heartburn in both pregnancies, second one worse (to the point of waking up with vomit in my mouth). Second baby has much less hair!

Horrendous, vomit inducing heartburn and had a baby that looked like she had Lego hair on....

She was also breech so her head poking my stomach didn't help either.
