I am hoping plan for a home birth, it is my first baby so I am aware it may not happen. I live 5 minutes from the maternity hospital so very close if plans need to change.
I am aware the home birth midwives are a separate team, I was wondering about when I would be out in touch with them? My next appointment is in a couple of weeks when I will be 27 weeks (a bit later than it should be as midwife away).
Just wondering what others experiences are, I'm guessing it might vary in different parts of the country.
