Does uterus growth often feel like period pain?

Just wondering if anyone else's stretchy pains feels like period pains slightly? I've felt them on and off today but then I've felt them before along with a few twinges and all was fine.

Nothing too bad and tend to be relieved by changing positions as I'm lying down. Do they seem like growing pains or are they anything to worry about? I don't feel the need to take pain killers or anything but I'm just curious as I'm wondering if it could be a growth spurt? I'm 19 weeks today!

Yes, mine have sometimes felt like period pains which I found quite disconcerting at the time. But I'm 36 weeks now and all is good.

Thank you all! I hadn't had period type pain since I was about 8 weeks, wasn't sure whether at 19 weeks they would still feel like that but it appears they do! At least it's normal!

I had cramping for weeks in the beginning but I'm 19 weeks now and last couple of days been feeling period like pains that had me panicking a bit. My back & hips are a bit achy but I'm assuming that's all my ligaments relaxing & bump expanding
