Excruciating leg pain. Help please.

I was getting something for my ds from the cupboard in the kitchen when suddenly I got the most debilitating, excruciating pain in my right leg. I couldn't walk. It was pure agony. It felt like my leg was going to go from under me. That was about half an hour ago and I still can't walk. I have to stay sitting down. I'm 21 weeks. Any idea what this is? I don't think it's sciatica or spd, as the pain seems to start from my knee and radiate to the rest of my leg. Just a bit worried about a blood clot. Or is it just because my ligaments have softened. It really is incredibly sore when I stand up.

are you sure it's not cramp? I get woken up with cramps in my calf muscles that have me yelling in agony. then when it finally wears off, the leg is stiff and sore for the next 3 days. can you work out exactly where it came from?

probably worth a call to your medical team if you are worried, and they will let you know whether they think they need to see you.

It might be a clot - is your leg swollen and noticeably bigger than the other? Is it hot to the touch? Both signs of DVT (I've had it!)

Otherwise, it might be phlebitis. I'm suffering with that in this pregnancy and it's absolute agony.

In either case, you should get check out by your GP.
