Apparently only 5% are born on due dates. The general consensus is first babies are ALWAYS late, so just wondering......

TheTravellingLemon Wed 08-Jul-15 17:06:19

Born on due date smile

sarkymare Wed 08-Jul-15 17:06:36

My first came 8 days before my due date. I had no signs of labour that I was aware of and was completely shocked to wake up during the night with my waters breaking.

WorldsBiggestGrotbag Wed 08-Jul-15 17:07:20

6 days after due date. Currently a day after due date with second.

Pyjamaface Wed 08-Jul-15 17:08:15

DS was 8 weeks early

OhEmGeee Wed 08-Jul-15 17:09:14

11 days early.

OhEmGeee Wed 08-Jul-15 17:10:06

Although full term is from 37 weeks, so a due date is a bit irrelevant really.

lilac3033 Wed 08-Jul-15 17:11:12

On her due date!

Quinandthem Wed 08-Jul-15 17:12:12

10 days late

Nottalotta Wed 08-Jul-15 17:14:05

Ooh in the first 9 posts its 3/3/2!! Surprising!

shushpenfold Wed 08-Jul-15 17:14:39

2 weeks early....waters broke in a service station!

Nottalotta Wed 08-Jul-15 17:15:23

I know the due date is irrelevant but i can't help but focus on it.

shushpenfold Wed 08-Jul-15 17:15:25

And I should add to that....the midwife said first babies are always late too!!!

Spotsondots Wed 08-Jul-15 17:16:09

13 days after EDD, although I was never convinced the date was that accurate...

OldBeanbagz Wed 08-Jul-15 17:16:44

DD was 5 days late.

LastOneDancing Wed 08-Jul-15 17:18:04

DS was 3 days early but I was convinced I was 2 weeks further along than they said.

LamppostInWinter Wed 08-Jul-15 17:18:05

4 days early. I think it's just pot luck!

thatsn0tmyname Wed 08-Jul-15 17:18:14

Both late, 10 and 12 days. My calcs were more reliable than the scans which bumped each due date back 5 days.

Lonz Wed 08-Jul-15 17:18:33

My son was a month early at 36wks. But according to the hospital he was term. Okay, I'm the only one here that knows when I conceived! I was in a long distance relationship. What!

Nottalotta Wed 08-Jul-15 17:19:07

4/5/2

I am not convinced about my edd either. Its moved back by 10 days! And i know when my lmp was and that we only dtd days 8 + 10.

Iloveonionchutney Wed 08-Jul-15 17:19:35

13 days late for me, she didn't want to come out even then!

Nottalotta Wed 08-Jul-15 17:20:41

7/6/2 with Lonz

TheFillyjonk Wed 08-Jul-15 17:21:42

DS was born around 37 weeks. I agree with the others who say due dates are a bit pointless - DS was DEFINITELY fully cooked at 8lb 1oz and I dread to think what size he would've been if he was late!

Jazzle37 Wed 08-Jul-15 17:22:37

1 week early, based on LMP...
