Argh I'm stressing . I told midwife about a outbreak of pox at my sons preschool . I said I wasn't certain of my past history and the virus so she took some blood .
Anyway she just called and I'm not immune :( .. My son hasn't got it it but it has been going around at his preschool so in my head it's only inevitable . I'm scared and worried . I had a still birth last year so I just panic all the time . If I catch it does anybody know what would happen? Anyone else pregnant and not immune to chicken pox? I feel like if it was my 1st id be less at risk but my son hasn't had it and is around kids all the time .

I'm not immune either, found out in my first pregnancy. Had a narrow escape this pregnancy as DS's cousin had it but luckily they hadn't seen each other.
I think if you get it the doctor gives you something, I can't remember what that is though. Probably worth seeing the doctor (if your surgery is anything like mine with appointments being scarce) as soon as your son gets it.
Hope all is well
