36+1 with a toddler in tow. Woe is me. Anyone else?

Urrrrrgh. Really struggling now.

36 weeks. 2.6yo toddler boy who has chosen this particular week to head into a previously unseen phase of DREADFUL tantrums, and arguing with everything I say.

I have mild SPD (mild as in not on crutches), and feel like I have hot knitting needles stabbing me in the vagina all day.

Ds1 cries because I say I cannot play trains on the floor with him at the moment.

I live in London and its 30 sodding degrees. I have easily put on 3 stone and am sweating like a pig all day.

I am fucking well over this now!!

Anyone else fancy a moan??

35 weeks with two toddlers here! wails My 2 year old is hard work and still wants to be picked up and carried a lot. My 3 year old is mostly great but it's hard work.

I'm working till 38 weeks as it's easier than being at home!
I'm not looking forward to the heat wave though!

It's too fucking hot to be pregnant with a toddler in tow! I feel a tiny smidge of your pain.

I'm only 20 weeks so can't yet deal with bad behaviour with threats of "I'll sit on you", but I'm finding it hard. My ds is 2.3 and keeps saying "come on, Mummy!" as I pant and puff to keep up.

Really stupid suggestion but can you play trains at the dinning table?? We have a few toys for when mummy can'tgetdown to the floor: train tracks, playdoh and colouring/craft.
Hope it gets better soon??

yes, me. I fancy a moan. I'm 37+4 and completely sick to the backteeth of being this pregnant. I can't wish it were over because we've had some growth issue with the baby and she could do with a bit more cooking but I am soooo tired. And big. Really big. Ds is 18 months and really good-he sleeps really well, eats really well and is very good natured but i'm just so boring for him at the moment. I just can't manage with him out and about now. He's a good walker but can't go too far without wanting to be picked up. He's a spirited child- the staff at the children's centre call him "adventurous"!- and he just gets so bored because all I want to do is sit on the bloody couch. Bah.

36+2 with an almost 3 year old with a bad cough, here. She's been vomiting up mucus when trying to sleep, most notably at 1am last night. I'd just like some confirmation that parenting under these circumstances really isn't easy, that it isn't just me finding it difficult.

36+4 (technically as its past midnight) I have a 6yo an 18 month old and I am on crutches thanks to SPD. I'm currently led on the couch as I am so sore I can't bring myself to even attempt the stairs.
DD (18 months) is a demon. I love her so much but I just wish she wasn't so naughty at times!
DS tries to help but he is only 6 and I feel bad as he shouldn't feel he needs to help. I don't know how much weight I've put on as I've not checked since I was 13 weeks and at that point I had put on nearly 2 stone Shock so I have avoided scales.
just want it over with now.

33 weeks with 6 children, including 5yo, 3 yo and 2 yo... Yes, incredibly hard work! I just find that 'keeping going' helps in the end. I'm so exhausted by the end of the day that I just want to burst into tears but I just make sure I sit with my feet up for at least 2 hours from 9pm..

I feel for you (us?!) all!

DD is now 12 days old, DS is 2.8, and pregnancy was tough especially when that phase of awful tantrums hit that a PP mentioned (it lasted 3 weeks for us by the way). It's not just that toddler = hard work, but I find the guilt of being a substandard parent while pregnant tough going.

I've had to spend a lot of my late pregnancy fobbing DS off with CBeebies in the afternoon so I can doze beside him, or explaining why mummy can't chase him round the park/play monsters/get down on the floor. DH is a superstar daddy and has taken over these things with ease, but... Over the last 4 months DS has stopped asking for me Sad and now I'm trying to rebuild the relationship that we used to have but feeling fairly superfluous to him. On the plus side, he doesn't ask me to carry him anymore, which is good because I physically can't. I didn't expect it to stop so soon though, now I will probably never carry him anywhere again unless he's sleeping and I have to transfer him. Emotional.

I still have SPD and am waiting for that to heal. Desperately want to be able to repair my relationship with DS. He's a physical child who isn't likely to sit still and do colouring/sticker books with me, so I feel like I need my body back to rejoin my family.
