Continuation from previouspost for those pregnant after miscarriage

chasingtherainbow Fri 19-Jun-15 13:15:15

Shall we ask mnhq to change the name so newbies know it's for pregnancy after mc?

Thanks for new thread.. no 4 already!

Romeolovesjuliet Fri 19-Jun-15 13:19:33

Marking my place - thanks for the new thread smile

Amyyy27 Fri 19-Jun-15 13:35:49

marking place Thanks Barbie

Have found out my antenatal classes start Monday! There will also be another session later in the year but as it is still unknown if I will be induced early they have said I can be booked on both. Scary... time is going so fast!

Marking place....

Hi ladies, I have taken today off yo do some bits and bobs I am still on my couch though with nothing done, so so tired. Thanks for the thread hope Romeo has a good holiday.

StockingFullOfCoal Fri 19-Jun-15 13:47:15

Place marking.

Absolutely wiped out this week. DD6 up with night terrors on Wednesday, didn't sleep at all between 2-6am and last night I didn't sleep either. I have throat that feels like I've smoked 40 fags, this UTI doesn't seem to have shifted and I feel sick.

Barbiedoll79 Fri 19-Jun-15 18:34:55

Chasing fantastic idea- I have no idea how to do it lol

Amyyy how did you find out about the classes? My mw hasn't said anything to me yet :-s

chasingtherainbow Fri 19-Jun-15 18:38:40

I've just reported our thread and asked them to change it. Xx

onefootinthebed Fri 19-Jun-15 18:51:42

I dragged myself away from the sofa eventually and packed for our holiday for my ds and went through all da old clothes and things and I have s small list to buy, changing Matt proably being the most expensive thing. I need to get a few hats and cardigans, nappies, scratch mits. Then before I go on mat leave just some vest and baby grows for 0-3. I know were I will buy them from as all the ones which still feel nice are from asda. If I have a boy I will be fine for clothes it made me smile going through it all, remembering him in some of the little outfits.

Amyyy27 Sat 20-Jun-15 08:22:44

barbie mine didn't either! I rang midwives to ask and was given a number to ring for my area. Good job I called or could have missed them. They said there will be another session running later in year but they don't know when so best to go now and can re do the next ones if they happen before baby comes. Annoying! It's too short notice for OH to come now, fantastic!

chasingtherainbow Sat 20-Jun-15 08:35:31

We did one of the antenatal classes when preggo with dd and we never finished the course it was so rubbish! Hopefully yours are better..we did hypnobirthing ( instead of nct) and it was money well spent

Barbiedoll79 Sat 20-Jun-15 09:00:58

Thankyou chasing (useless with computers lol)

One food I keep putting off going through dd clothes- I cry normally leg alone with all these extra hormones making me cry at everything lol

onefootinthebed Sat 20-Jun-15 09:44:07

Barbie, it's only because I really want to be organised and i am due so near Christmas and shopping when it's busy is like hell on earth for me.

I signed up to antenatal classes for September but when I have looked in my diary I hated them, I can't remember why, I did love the labour in motion classes though so I think I am going to cancel the antenatal class and just go to labour in motion if they still do it.

My back has been acheing for days I am thinking of looking into maternity massage's.

Barbiedoll79 Sat 20-Jun-15 09:52:29

Haha that's a good point!
When are you due?

How did you find out about the classes?

I had one with dd and highly recommend it :-) hope your back feels better soon x

chasingtherainbow Sat 20-Jun-15 11:51:52

Oh I really fancy a massage!

I'm getting a lot of dizzy spells and 'feeling out of it' atm. My app says this is normal as my blood pressure dips around now. What do you guys think?

Still feeling shocked over my baby having a winky! Also was hit with a sudden. ..sadness? This morning when I realised my chosen fave girls name will never be used now. DH set on a particular boys name which I like, but have no boys names I love so nothing to suggest atm. It's nice saying 'him' etc. Though it's a very odd thing having not known with dd!

onefootinthebed Sat 20-Jun-15 11:54:16

I'm due 28th of November but I was 4 days late with ds, so it might be December.

I take my ds to a play group on a Friday and I picked up a leaflet for the new school term and in September and it was on the leaflet.

It's all booked for Thursday.

chasingtherainbow Sat 20-Jun-15 13:22:31

Amyy have you decided whether to get a gender check scan?

Barbiedoll79 Sat 20-Jun-15 19:54:54

Chasing dizzy here too

One foot Thankyou thats great :-)
I was 4 days late with dd too! And my God those 4 days dragged the rest of the pregnancy was fine, this time the first trimester REALLY dragged but speeding up the last few weeks don't know about any one else? X

Amyyy27 Sat 20-Jun-15 20:17:04

chasing we have our 20w scan on wednesday so will check then and we also have to have growth scans so will see if we can check then too! Although I'm 99.9% sure they are right lol just a niggle!

barbie first 12 weeks dragged terribly but has gone quite fast since! Yet still feels like a life time away until due date!

onefootinthebed Sat 20-Jun-15 20:56:41

Barbie I was fine having ds up till my due date in the last 4 days I had two sweeps, walked miles and miles and ate loads of fresh pineapple. Worst four days of my life.

If you google the sure start in your area would it not come up with a time table. I'm sure it's all run by sure start. I don't know what ntc is short for but from what I understand it's antenatal classes you pay for. I don't know if there is one in my area.

Chasing I love having a boy, I wouldn't mind having another.

onefootinthebed Sun 21-Jun-15 08:48:03

This morning we were having breakfast and i got up to put the dishes in the sink and I think the baby turned round or done something it was so unexpected I dropped the bowls then I think it had hic ups for a few minutes. I am only 17 weeks I thought it would be too early I didn't feel anything with ds till 21 weeks.

Gr33dyeggs Sun 21-Jun-15 09:10:34

No one has mentioned antenatal classes to us - perhaps because it's our second? 6 years and 10 months was a long time ago though! I will have a look at sure start timetables.
I was 8 days over with ds - I was beginning to doubt it would ever come out! I remember saying 'I've had enough - I'm going to work tomorrow!' Labour started about half an hour later.
I'm sooooo tired. I've had 2 past midnight bedtimes and really feeling it now.
amyyy I keep meaning to ask how your hg is?

Barbiedoll79 Sun 21-Jun-15 16:11:21

Awww one foot how amazing :-)

Amyyy27 Sun 21-Jun-15 19:30:32

Aww onefoot how lovely. I felt something similar at the same time as you have felt like being stroked from the inside!

Thanks greedy it was getting a little better but started getting worse again and back to losing weight sad really fed up now just want to enjoy the pregnancy!

GuybrushThreepwoodMP Mon 22-Jun-15 06:22:33

Hi everyone, I've been away for the weekend so just popping on to say hello.
chasing I have low blood pressure too and it makes me feel exactly as you describe. Make sure you stay really well hydrated- that seems to be the main thing which helps.
Scan on Thursday. So nervous. Feeling both babies wiggle and hiccup every day. Just hoping everything looks ok.
