im 12 weeks 2 days pregnant and last few days I've had bad achy pains in my hips, back, legs, knees and feet with mild, constant pins and needles in my feet. I have also been getting pins and needles in my hands very easily. Could this be SPD or is it too early? Anyone else experienced this and have a conclusion? Or is this just normal pregnancy symptoms.

TIA x

I would talk to your midwife. My first pregnancy I had that and it developed into spd. I didn't even think to ask as I thought the pain was just normal. When I got to about 22 weeks I couldn't get out of bed and called the midwife. I was sent to physio but I'd left it so late that I was on crutches by about 26 weeks and it was hell. This time, the first twinge and I self referred to physio. Been doing my exercises, got my support belt and with careful management I'm not on crutches yet and I'm 31 weeks exactly today. The physio told me it's about catching it early and managing it. Not what I did first time! You can self refer to physio in my area which is faster than waiting for the midwife but it depends on where you live. Hope this helps!

yep. speak to your mw. I had it with my DD but wasnt diagnosed until late so was unable to get help during that pregnancy. I had physio after she was born as I was still struggling. she was 10 month old before I was discharged and fell pregnant again. I'm now 35 weeks and have been on crutches since I was 19 weeks. I can't bath or shower alone, I can't get dressed, I can't stand, I can't lie on my left side. it's awful. I'm on co codamol but it doesn't touch the pain. I'm not saying this just to scare you, this is my experience of SPD. but that's because I wasn't able to recover properly from the first time round. so please get it seen to as soon as you can
