Haha made me laugh when I saw it was you posting Number3 ????.
Last time I genuinely wasn't fed up by my due date! People kept asking if I was but I was feeling fine and in no rush for baby to come. Didn't start feeling fed up until 40+4 and that's the day contractions started.
This time... 37 weeks and well and truly fed up.

July name changer here! I wasn't fussed for either DC1 or DC2, but I'm feeling more fed up this time (am 38w)...

I didn't get fed up and I went 15 days overdue and was massive! DS was 11lb7oz! Other than being hot all the time (August last year) I felt fine. I think I'm lucky though.

I didn't get fed up until I was overdue. Went 13 days over and was properly miserable by the end.

I didn't get fed up till I was about 40 * 5. I worked quite late though and kept myself very busy with things like lunches, shopping etc ! I do remember thinking I want the baby to come so I can sleep better ... What a fool I was Smile

I'm not quite fed up (although very hot on the train home from work) but do remember being fed up with DC1. With DC2 I didn't have a chance (38 weeks)

I'm only 35+2 here at the moment so not feeling too desperate and have my planned section date for 39+2 but will probably be really ready by then Wink

Dd1 arrived at 38 weeks on the first day of my maternity leave from work so no chance to get fed up.

Dd2 (now 2 weeks old!) arrived at 40+1 and I was totally fed up by then as I'm a SAHM so had plenty of time to prepare and also as Dd1 was early I secretly thought this one would be the same!

Was very fed up by 39 weeks - I had convinced myself DD would come early. By 41 weeks there were no words to describe the levels of fed-upness. She was finally born yesterday, 9 days late, each one unbearably long!

I had my son at 38 weeks and was hoping he'd hold on a bit longer so I could get the house ready.

I wasn't fed up with DC3 (13 days late). I was uncomfortable but pretty calm and zen.

Sadly I wasn't so sanguine with 1 or particularly 2!Grin

Hey July buddies. I'm not fed up (yet) at 36 weeks but definitely more eager to meet him than end up endlessly waiting til 42 weeks (hope that doesn't happen) but "everyone" I know says boys are lazy and often go well over! Sad

Due date has come and gone and I am well and truely fed up. 40+5 now. Went to 41+6 last time and had to be induced. What's there not to be fed up about..... Feeling huge, uncomfortable, too hot, difficulty dleeping, peeing every 5 minutes, constantly hungry.... I'll stop there Wink but I could go on and on

I'm 29+2 and already fed up Sad I feel like a beached whale, I struggle being on my feet at work for 40 hours a week and I'm finding it hard to accept that I can't do things for myself any more!! And I'm so over the constant pain at the top of my bump and the constant heartburn!!

Report
lljkk · 16/06/2015 19:14

me, I could go on being pg forever. The only bad late pg symptom I ever got was heartburn (only some pregnancies, and that was just annoying not impossible). Much easier to be 9m pregnant than to look after a newborn.

I have very grim morning sickness for 7-10 weeks early on, though.

Give me a newborn over pregnancy any day!

WorldsBiggestGrotbag · 16/06/2015 19:36

Agreed Mcbw. I just hate being so fat and cumbersome! I haven't even had bad pregnancies either, both have been completely straightforward (and had a newborn with reflux). Still prefer the newborn.

I had a lovely pregnancy with ds- I felt better than I've ever felt and wouldn't really have known I was pregnant without looking down. So not fed up at all, just excited and really wanted the baby to come in time for Christmas. Paying for it with this pregnancy Sad. Sick to the back teeth of feeling so bloody rough all of the time. Knackered, aching, sick, bbllaaagh! And I've still 4 weeks to go.

I never reached my due date. DS 3 days early, not fed up at all, DD1 I was in hospital from 33.5 weeks, bored with that, DD2, 6 hospital admissions, EMCS at 36+1

39 + 3 today and I'm not fed up! Except of people constantly texting me to ask how I am. First pregnancy though, and I'm enjoying my last week (hopefully) of freedom. I might have changed my mind by this time next week!!

I have to say I do get fed up with people saying "you look ready to drop!"

Erm no, 4 weeks to go!

I didn't mind too much with number one. Number two came early and yet I still felt like I'd been pregnant forever.

I was totally fed up with dd1 by 36 weeks as i swelled right up and could barely move. I had her at 40+4.

With dd2 I was tiny and so comfy. I didn't want it to end as I loved being pregnant with her. I was actually gutted when I went into labour before my due date. I felt cheated out of time being pregnant.

After dd1 I never once missed being pregnant. Four months on after dd2 and I still cry seeing bump pics and wish i was still pregnant. I think it's coz she's my last ;-(

Yes with DD I was v comfy and fine, think because she was v low and I have a long torso so there was plenty of space for her. Still felt fit, mowed lawn day before she was born etc. Expected to be way overdue as was feeling so OK but she was 2 days early. Don't expect I'll be that lucky this time round though, esp with 3yo to run around after...
